ico's are a good way to raise money for your startup, project, idea and is relatively easy all you need is good marketing and an decent project. Problem is however that many people tend to abuse the system by providing decent or even identical ideas to some previous one. We've seen in past some scams and will continue to do in future.  There are good projects but many of them will fail. People are ready to invest specially if they see bitcoins process now and dont want to miss out on this fresh new bog opportunity.  As others predicted and myself many ico startups will fail. But yes we have to be aware and invest rationally not just put our money in the table.

Exactly, when I heard about this coin, I laughed for 5 minutes without stopping. This is a good example of making a coin for fun. Almost all other coins are created for the purpose of earning money.

It's just for $$$. It's easy to create altcoin. Of course you can't do this alone. They need partners in crimes and some imaginary friends to add at their dev team. ICO i think the fastest and the easiest way to get money from people to fund their scam coin. ICOs these days just popping out of nowhere. Most of them are just collect money from investors. Then they will distribute the coin to the investors. And when the coin hit an exchange. That's it, another shitcoin landed an exchange. That's why ICO from other countries are keeping their eyes to them. ICOs is getting out of hand. This thing needs to be regulated.
