Targeting mass adoption.... sounds great... but what are you actually doing to reach that target?
EthereumCash is aimed to do everything that Ether won't. Ether is aimed to be used for the deployment of smart contracts and nothing else. It is not meant to be a currency - Vitalik even said it himself, he is not focused on making ether a currency but rather a complimentary means to the ethereum platform. Kind of like how we all use oil for cars and heat but, none of us use it to pay for snacks or clothes; It just doesn't make sense. Ether is a commodity and that's why so few merchants etc. accept ether as a means of currency. EthereumCash aims to fill the hole that ether has created; To be accepted as a currency amongst consumers and in day-to-day life. |
