A tweet by @ICBIT_se reads "AurumXchange suspends all VouchX codes":

That wouldn't be surprising but the AurumXChange site doesn't show anything and I still could get a quote.

Could anyone confirm?

I can't find it either, but Vircurex has suspended all VouchX deposits and withdrawals.

Bitinstant will still accept VouchX in payment.  Not currently offering VouchX output, but that is pretty common.

Issuing an unregulated ecurrency seems pretty dangerous these days. They don't want to get jailed by the US government.

Could it be related to AurumXChange's possible losses on Liberty Reserve seizure?
So they're going through hard times.

I liked VouchX codes.

What the hell is Vircurex gonna do? Their whole system was based on VouchX codes.

Anywho, I try to use AurumXchange as sparingly as possible. They love sneaking their fees up 1% or 2% whenever there is an inter-exchange arbitrage opportunity. It is really annoying. Bitinstant does not change their fees everyday and that is their main competition. I think they could use a little gut-check at the moment.

From a post on the BitInstant support thread:

The site still shows VouchX as one of the destinations for "Transfer".  I thought VouchX was done for.  Is this simply a site error, or has VouchX been revived from the dead?
