Hi there,
I installed several mounth ago Electrum on my mac (OS Sierra) and created a wallet. Last week I wanted to create a new definitive wallet but I couldn't find the way to do this on Electrum so I erased the file system on Library. From that moment, when I open Electrum an error occurs and I'm forced to go to console. I reinstalled Electrum, but the problem persists. Can someone help me? I just want to have a new electrum wallet.

Sounds like you're going to need to repair your OS rather than worry too much about Electrum at this stage... The "Library" directory tree is an OS level data store, rather than something specific to Electrum. Maybe this thread might help? https://discussions.apple.com/message/18731776#18731776

It's for "Snow Leopard" rather than the new OS versions, but I would expect you should be able to do something similar (ie. "Repair OS")

For the record, to create a new wallet in Electrum, you just need to use the "File -> New\Restore" option! Wink

My OS is OK. The problem is only with Electrum. I deleted only the Electrum folder from Library.

What is the specific error then? Without knowing what it is actually saying, no one is likely to be able to help...

Hi, here some screenshot. I can't have access to electrum. If I delete the app and reinstall it, the same error appears.

Install 2.9.2 instead

Nothing changes. Is it really so uncommon this error?

The only version that works is the first 1.8, but I'd like to use the last version! How I could fix the problem?
