It really depends on what your style of invest/trading, short/long term, stable/volatile

If you are one who prefer mainstream currency and can hold really long but don't want very high volatility (in Crypto), BTC/ETH/Waves and all the big brother will be your bagholding choice.

you can try to divided your amount into some parts, but i think you should invest in the big crypto such as top 20 coinmarketcap which already dumped a lot in this time. or you can try to invest in those new coin or ico that already dumped by the investors. As far as i know about the fact you must try to put your amount in some baskets.

I think Status and Bitcoin are currently the best coins to buy. Status is very cheap. Bitcoin is going to have hard fork so we will see bull run. And Taas is good one as well they will give dividend.

It has come to a point where almost every alt is seeing huge dips. Anything you buy will multiply your BTC, most probably. But will the BTC price be same than? I don't think so.

Divide your money in 10 - 20 altcoins won't give you much profit. Your money will likely same from year to year.
Advice to OP, i suggest you to buy Bitcoin only for now, and wait until Hardfork for bitcoinGold happened, you will have free money and the price would be higher than BitcoinCash has.

it is obvious! buy bitcoin because it is rising and it is showing all the signs of continued rising for the foreseeable future. you buy at something like $4200-$4500 and enjoy the rise up to however much it goes.

ETH on the other hand that you mentioned here is dropping fast, so again it is obvious, you should stay away from it and wait until you see the dumping stop. if it stopped and you speculated a rise then invest. if it stopped and you speculated more drop after it then continue staying away.

I think you must choose bitcoin for me this is try and tested why? Because some of my coins was invest in bitcoin so that i trust bitcoin that they wouldn't lose my coins so that give my full trust that my coins increasing the currency so that i suggest to you that try bitcoin to invest you coins and for sure that you trusting in coin also like me.

maybe you can split your fund into 3-4 parts and you can trying to buy btc, eth, but for the ico, i think you need to read the details of their project because there are too many ico out there that can make you confuse. its better to know the details because we can compare from one ico with other ico so we know where we invest. but i think you don't have to buy the ico and only wait when the ico is release in the market then you can buy at the market and then you can hold for a long term.
