I wonder how high the price of FLIK might go after the burn. Or is it doomed to fall? Anyway, long-term I predict $1 or more. HODL guys!  Grin

Bitgesell (BGL):  A modern and truly scarce store of value. Burn rate is 90% of tx fee. Yearly block reward halving.

It's just the beginning!

I don't know it'll increase much if at all. Most people here are buying based on the after burn market cap not pre-burn.

if FLIK is listed on bigger exchanges like bittrex, it won't stop growing even after the burn.

https://etherscan.io/token/0x17fd666fa0784885fa1afec8ac624d9b7e72b752#balances
Warning
they control 90% of the supply
and a single user controls 6,69% of it the owner again
when the burn happen the supply will be 50/50 from the dev and the users
however one single guy will control 67% of it
in other words
the company is buying back the flik on the exchange to inflate the price
in the end they will control 90% of it again, to dump it all at once.

You are so funny. Yes they have 90% percent of coins and they will burn %80 of total coins, 420 m coins and will be left 80 m coin. Did you look at any other coin wallet adress ? There is no doubt that you do not know even bitcoin, ethereum, waves, dgb... which coin you have ever imagine have same situation. There are allways a couple of adress  that have huge amounts. And as you said these kind of selling process are not on exchanges. Big stake owners sell their share with hand shake agreement. Go and play another place.

So what happened to warrant a burn of so many coins? Not enough interest in the ICO?

I guess they figured it out that coin supply is important thing. Personally I do not prefer investing coin that has too much supply.

After it 10x -20x I will have $100k - $200k and will either get a red or yellow used or brand new Lamborgini Gallardo V-spec!

sorry but that is dumb. to take huge gains like that only to blow on a used lamborghini instead of adding to retirement and just playing with maybe 10% of it. but hey, i'm not your financial advisor
Well that is his money he can do whatever he wants with his profits, but if my investments gave me that kind of money I know for sure that I will just buy a bunch of houses  rent them and retire the next day since that is a lot of money in my country.

Prices have dropped dramatically the past few days. Might be a good time to get in now. I won't be buying, but im interested in seeing whether the coin burn will have a huge impact on prices

I would expect 80% burn to have noticeable effect. Market cap with drop a lot.

If the value of the coin goes up after the burn is there a chance we don't ever see current prices again?

It will of course come down too, possibly lots if there is no quick profit to make.

Have a bad feeling about this coin. Why was such huge burn initiated? My guess - just to pump the price
