Probably the least likely thing to happen out of this list is John McAfee still being alive and giving interviews   Grin seconded by the over 25000 USD bitcoins.

What if the future gets us
"I wish I had sold all my bitcoins when it was at $6000"

"Do you think bitcoin will ever come back to the 2017 price?"

"Still hodling and waiting for miracle"

"Do you know any exchange that is still accepting bitcoins?"

"[GREAT OFFER] I can buy your worthless coins for $0.0001 each"

I mean, I personally believe in cryptocurrencies and expect them to grow, but there is always the other side worth thinking about.

The one you wrote is less possible to turn into real compared to the one that the guy wrote in the first post.

It must keep growing and this will bring the action to the market, but we can't know the numbers.

$25,000 priced bitcoin’s are not that far fetched. Have you not been watching the price increase % over the last 12 months?

What's the difference how much will the bitcoin? For me important is its purchasing power. Dollar every year falls in price. We do not see this because the American economy run by very smart people. They cleverly hide the inflation and through fiscal policy forced all countries to work to maintain the American economy. Maybe in 2022 $ 1,000 will pay for a hamburger.

I like how people open up threads each time the price reaches a new high. It has been happening for years, and each time you see people ask whether or not it's still a good moment to buy, or that they are simply said, too late. I only wonder where the noobs are who constantly refer to Bitcoin as the bitcoin. I used to see them post throughout the entire forum, and expected it to continue for quite a while, but it seems that they are gone, or they are significantly decreased due to them bumping up their overall English skills, or it was an account farmer who got its accounts whooped. Cheesy

It was almost funny reading through posts like -> yes, that is very good for the bitcoin because price hike and we rich now.

This is a very pessimist idea about Bitcoin hahaha.

We aren't so far from 2022... Only more 5 years ahead, only a big unpreditable event could result in a catastrophic scenario for Bitcoin, otherwise it will continue growing its price and increasing its adoption. The chance always exist, but I'm 99.9% sure that it won't happen, at least not in 5 years.

I believe in 2022 people will be complaining and regretting a lot about not buying BTC before.

Or....

Dear fellow coiners,

My BTC stash just hit the 10 figures.
I have so much money I don't know how to covert it to cash without raising suspicion.
I tried BTC ATMs but it will take me 150 years to get it out of the machine.

HELP!!!!

😎✌🏻

Bitcoin is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get !!

I doubt it. He can be 90 and still doing interviews.

Your analysis is on point, but this made me chuckle:

You missed "Bitcoin is a bubble" and "Dimon Jr says Bitcoin is a scam"

interesting topic. i usually do it backwards though. meaning i usually go back and look at the topics from years ago which were exactly the same thing as today!
you can check them out yourself too. just go to older pages of speculation board, for example page 370.  it is the drama about $10 and $30 and some calling the drop to $1 again and bitcoin being dead and you know the usual shit Cheesy

here is a fun topic which feels almost dumb now to read people talk about bitcoin being worth <$1
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43443.0;all
apparently bitcoin went to $30 as ATH and there was a correction down to $10 maybe and some were calling $1 as bottom. sounds familiar doesn't it? (bitcoin to $4900 then correction and some people calling $1000 as bottom)

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

"I wish I bough Bitcoins when they were only 25.000 USD"

There will always be people who regret not getting in, but I believe that it's a sign of a newbie, as seasoned investors just accept their mistakes and move on.

"I wish I bough Bitcoins when they were only 25.000 USD"

Sooner or later this forking trend will die out, people will understand that forks are pump and dump scams or takeover attempts. You can't do the same thing over and over again and expect that the market won't learn.

"Should I take John McAfee serious after the last interview???"

You should never take any investment advises from celebrities.

"Is ---- pick a country ---- really banning cryptos?"

Maybe by 2020 most countries will make up their mind about cryptos.

"I wish I had sold all my bitcoins when it was at $6000"

"Do you think bitcoin will ever come back to the 2017 price?"

"Still hodling and waiting for miracle"

[...]

These three points do not necessarily contradict OP and may just be happening a couple of months prior to OP's scenario Wink

[...]

"How long do you think Bitcoin Plutonium will last? Will it become irrelevant like Bitcoin Pumpkin? Can we handle another fork?"

[...]

Gotta love that one. Maybe after we've run out of precious metals and synonyms for money we'll see corporate hardforks:

"I'd like to buy 300 DOGE worth of Bitcoin Coke."

"Is Bitcoin Pepsi OK?"

The year 2020 seems to be a milestone in the history of bitcoin as well other digital currencies. After 2020, the year 2022 etc importance, because of the events that are gonna happen by the year 2020. By 2020 we can have a prediction about the different country's interest towards the technology as well implementing of bitcoin into their financial framework which may go till 2022 causing a big boom.

We will see things like: "i remember when it was 300$USD per coin!" -- and i actually do, it wasent that long ago haha
We may even get to see if John McCafee lives up to his "BTC 500k or ill eat my dick" comment Cheesy
Either way, WE will be the early adopters, the pioneers that made, or broke BTC for the future.
