Thats just created because NYtimes spread fud without research.  Centra reached out to NY times to address the false accusations and the writer refused to even talk.

US is the most regulated place and hardest to ship cards to and Centra has received money transmitter license in 31 states and working on the rest.  This means they can ship to the US while other companies have not been able to get US license.

Centra has become a Executive member of Chamber of Digital Commerce after US license.  Executive member is a small circle including microsoft, IBM, Bittrex, Overstock, etc.  And the group works closely with policymakers and regulatory agencies for blockchain.

ALSO, it shows people are spreading fud when the poster/user whycentrawhy only posts are ones that bash centra.

There will always be fud, but its up to the individual to do proper research.

Another guy that likes to spread false rumors without facts.  Both guys still work at the company and can be seen daily on slack and telegram.

I think they are good, and I would wait for them to launch their cbay (I think that's how they will call it). There are a lot of crypto cards already, but the ones operating in the blockchain are still not very popular, like centra, tenX, monaco. They are a much better option than the ones that are dominating the market right now, like xapo, cryptopay, etc. If you have the token, I would say hold to it, and probably get the card as well to generate some more.
These cards are a very good solution for adoption right now, and I think they still have an important role to play right now. They will be "useless" in maybe 10 ou 15 years for now, if bitcoin succeeds, but for the short term, they are the best solution for people to pay with BTC.

Before your words  it would be right to give some information about lacks of this currency. I have read something about it. CENTRA looks like smart currency, work in different areas of cryptomarket. The falling price isn’t the reason to talk about CTR as a scam. If a CoinBay will start, it will be fresh real idea in international trade.

When you read the whitepaper and their road map of centra they are good actually,..that's why it became successful til the end of the campaign period. Maybe the only problem I know about it was they many participants in the bounty campaign that are not yet fully pay, that's what I know about it.

The coin is kind of a well thought of scam. They fell off due to the people selling the coins after the ICO though they are still around trying to get people to purchase things from them.

I don't think it is a scam, but the way the team manage their pre-sale and ICO begs question, they allowed the pre-sale investors to be selling their tokens during the ICO and this looks like exit scam in my opinion. that is why the price has been down for a long period since the ICO ends
