So my roommate forgot to pay the electricity bill (as usual) and our power was off when I came home for lunch today. It was back on in a few minutes, but when I restarted XMR STAK all I get are connection errors. Has anyone run into this before? If it helps here is my setup:

MSI 970A Gaming Pro Carbon
AMD FX-4300 cpu
EVGA 430 W1, 80+ WHITE 430W psu
A-Tech 4GB DDR3 RAM
Silicon Power 60GB SSD
1x Gigabyte GTX 1050ti (single fan)
1x MSI GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OCV1

Everything works as expected in Minergate (haven't tried other miners yet, had to return to the office). Really kinda pissed as I spent the past few days playing with my Afterburner settings and got up to ~900 H/s as reported in the miner, TDP ~65% (don't know how impressive that is compared to others here, but a personal best). I don't wanna be stuck with Minergate again....

Maybe try downloading it again. It could have corrupted the files when the power shut off.  I’ve had unstable rigs really play heck with files.

That makes sense, I'll try that as soon as I get home and report back.

Okay, so that was a no-go. Still getting these lines over and over:

[2017-10-10 19:15:20] : Connecting to pool xmr-eu.suprnova.cc:5222 ...
[2017-10-10 19:15:21] : Connected. Logging in...
[2017-10-10 19:15:31] : SOCKET ERROR - CALL error: Timeout while waiting for a reply
[2017-10-10 19:15:31] : Pool connection lost. Waiting 10 s before retry (attempt 1).

Had my li'l rig runnin' better than ever until today's "event"...

Try a system restore to the last date your system was working.

Have you tired any other pools besides Suprnova after the power outage? Also, did you reset all of your network equipment, switch, router, cable modem, etc afterwards? From the errors you posted it seems more like a connection issue. Can you establish other network connectivity with the rig, such as visit a website to make sure it can connect to the Internet?

Okay, so it's mostly working again. Not sure exactly what happened. Since Minergate was working after XMR STAK quit, I decided to try Nicehash when I got home last night. But first, I removed and reinstalled drivers, and did the Win 10 Anniversary update (I had been meaning to for a while, but I didn't want to stop mining log enough to restart Wink). That didn't help, sadly, nor did playing w/ threads and blocks in the config. I started Nicehash and gave up for the night.

Early this morning, my 1060 crashed super hard to the point where Afterburner didn't even see it anymore. I restarted my rig and prayed it wasn't dead. Everything looked normal so I started XMR STAK just to see what happened, and it ran like nothing was wrong (save for the hashrate drop).

So, yeah, don't know what that was about. Chrome browser was working, other miners working... At least it seems to be over for now. Thanks for all the suggestions. They may still come in handy lol.

Small update, just for the sake of information. The hashrate drop was due to Afterburner resetting my 1050 to stock for some unknown reason. Put my profile back in play, went +1 on blocks for each card in the config, and I now have a very steady 900 H/s
