Even though sometimes is interesting to think about these things, I honestly don't believe that there's some kind of government conspiracy hiding Satoshi's identity. I really don't think that the government could have any type of motivation behind this. No one really knows who Satoshi Nakamoto was.
Also, I didn't found any source where the co-founder of Nem said anything related to the U.S government hiding Satoshi's identity. However even if he did said that, I don't think there's a lot of valid evidence behind these claims.

It's a conspiracy theory in my opinion. Why would the US government be interested in him? He did found Bitcoin, but he has no control over it. He also made his exit before Bitcoin actually boomed. He was a revolutionary, and I'm sure every single Bitcoin holder and cryptocurrency holder has varying degrees of respect towards him, but they recognize that he can be nothing more than a figurehead with no power or authority.
If the government is keeping tabs on him, I find it unlikely that it's because of Bitcoin. We don't know where he is or whether he started other projects before and after founding Bitcoin. Still, I find all of this highly unlikely. I honestly think people should stop trying to find him as a sign of respect.

I dont know whats the fuzz with Satoshi, Ethereum is a few billion dollars and i dont see vitalik buterin having a security problem. Maybe he is so wanted because of the amount of money he has...who knows, one thing is clear tho...if you have that amount the US goverment is gonna come after them...after all they have to respect their mafia status right?

I think that's possible because the US government is very good. They know a lot but for some reason they do not publish. For example, they found aliens but did not publish them. I met him at a conference in Vietnam on the subject of "value of internet".

Maybe he simply didn't want the attention? Like how Charlie Lee has gotten a lot of followers. He probably just wanted to make a positive impact to the world and fade in the background. I think that's possible because the US government is very good. They know a lot but for some reason they do not publish. For example, they found aliens but did not publish them.

If US.Goverment knows this is likely to be the big threat to Bitcoins users. Because they can control Satoshi so they can do the things they want to do in bitcoins, let's say it's what's happening now. So we will not be able to wonder why bitcoins are rising. Perhaps one day the price of bitcoins has fallen suddenly and we're really going to lose it because others are worth the big money

If the American government really knows the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, it may have a great impact when it comes to chance. Because they can kill satoshi and quit all the important things to know in bitcoins. And definitely a big puppet they can control. And it can now happen. But do not swallow us soon enough to find a great source to make sure

The fact that the US government knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is, I think that this is another rumor that has no confirmation. If this is not a pseudonym, but such a person really was, then it is unlikely that someone will establish his identity, since he himself did not want it, and since 2009, that is the year of the creation of bitcoin, a lot of time has passed.

Can you post a link? Or you are just creating thread out of the blue without providing receipts of your assumption? Even if you will provide links, i will not believe on it. If Government know Satoshi then bitcoin should have been hacked by now or attacked maliciously.

Thr US government always claims to know about a thing or two when it comes to security and privacy-related concerns. They could possibly have the dox of the entire US population and some neighboring countries' citizens and persons of interest, but please remember that they weren't successful on decrypting the passcode of a terrorist's iPhone and claimed that they have a pre-installed 'backdoor' on it. They are the masters of bluffing and deceiving, so I wouldn't take much of their word regarding Satoshi's identity.

The big reason why they are not publishing who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto is because those are still now speculations. They could not be sure who is the real one among the many possible identities plus they don't really care about Satoshi Nakamoto at all. The US government will not stand to gain anything if they divulge the real identity of the man plus we the government can be afraid of possible backlash on privacy.

There are some official conspiracies that hide the identity of Satyai. Nobody knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is. This is a conspiracy. The United States has got Bitcoin, but it has no control over it. If the government does not keep it in, I guess it is due to Bitcoin. If the US government knows that it may be a big threat for users of bitcoins.

How can we be sure that person is Satoshi, we dont even know Satoshi is a person or a group, but that doesn't bother me at all and I dont believe it at all, if they know why they don't announced it or maybe recruit him to create another futuristic transaction system

who cares? so what if US government and 20 other governments know who Satoshi Nakamoto is. what is that going to change? ... absolutely nothing! you are confusing bitcoin with a centralized thing. possibly even some of the centralized altcoins such as ethereum. yes if these centralized altcoins lose their developer they simply die because they are the kill switch. Gavin Andresen, chief scientist of the Bitcoin Foundation, said at a conference in BBC that he believes Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous inventor of Bitcoin.
i would have said the same thing if Craig paid me the same amount he paid Gavin

Yes, there is no way to know if this information is correct. We don't know who Satoshi is, we don't know what happens inside the governments around the world, it's like to ask if USA has contact with Aliens. Pure speculation, nothing concrete. I think Satoshi's job is done and he have already contributed a lot for the world. The interest on him would be more focused on BlockChain technology than about creating new futuristic transaction systems.

How would Nem coin co-founder know about this, I'm really wondering. I honestly gave up wondering who Satoshi is because there's no way for me to find out unless he himself will come forward. And even if he does, will we really believe that he's the real deal? As for the US government, let's say I believe that they know him. I think it's not their place to publish who he is especially if ge doesn't want to. It might also be for his own protection because there will be big time criminals who will hire or abduct him to their biddings involving btc or a new crypto.
