Yes it looks as Bitcoin has held at 4,800.00$ On Tuesday.
It looks like we are heading to 5000.00 $ a new time high in the near future.
This should be no surprise as it is inline with this bullish market........

yes, the bitcoin will be over 5000$ soon though there are more and more regulations, so I will sell some of my altcoins to hold more bitcoin. |

I guess BTC won't get new high before the hardfork. Even it does the price should be dumped right before it imo.

In my opinion, if It's ready to go above 5000usd, it will be before the October or November hard fork. |

25 october BTCG and Segwit X2 mid november. If you are in FIAT you don't receive your chain split coins ofcource. |

As much as I want bitcoin to break 5000 resistant level, it is not going to happen at least, not now. The proposed folk of bitcoin on 25th is casting temporary negative shadow on bitcoin. All this folk is no good for the value and mainstream acceptance of bitcoin.

Even tho i don't like Bitcoin forking, i do think Bitcoin Gold is even more decentralised then Bitcoin Core, being it GPU friendly.

this so called "decentralized" fork has a huge premine that makes it a shitcoin in eyes of many cryptocurrency users. nobody likes a project that the developer puts something like that in it to make money like this out of his project. This may help you see a a real decentralized altcoin! you think he needed to premine his project to now own a couple of million dollar worth of his own coin! no! he built a valuable project, put his heart in it and really worked to make it better and it became better and he also benefited from it. |

People are not as cautious of this fork as they were with bitcoin cash, for a variety of reasons, so I imagine it can hit 5000 USD before the fork. If it doesn't and forms an equilibrium pattern after it's run-up yesterday, I would anticipate it reaching the ATH shortly after the fork (but not immediately after).

i guess btc will hit to 6000$,in OTC the will drop back 4700$ around,at the same t8me,altcoin will go to moon,because money get back from btc
