What happens to  antminer s9 if power flashes?

Like the power turns off for a few seconds then turns on again.

Does the machine power up by itself or does it need to be manually turned back on?

I can imaging if you have this happen in a large mining operation, it may take days to reset all those machines if that is required.

Thanks.

It depend on P/S protections.

I use 2x EVGA P/S for S9, 1x 1300W and 1x 1000W.
EVGA P/S sometime trip after power cut-off ( winter storm ),
I have to reset manually with power off / on .
Protections kick-in only if input power is really bad.
But most of the time they switch back on them self if they feel safe to.

Cheap power supply would kill them self or damage your miner in same situations.
Reliable and safe power supply is mandatory for mining, protect your investment.

EVGA P/S are expensive but I purchased many second handed. Zero issues, clean and quiet p/s build to last.
