This might be true for everyone's personal style and limitations (or ignorance

). But there are very wonderful opportunities (use cases) for still reading books, e.g. on an airplane. Or while travelling without Internet. Or while being on a 2 weeks trip through Sahara (or any other area without Internet connectivity).
SO YES, BOOK READING is still useful.

To get an idea, I'd recommend first the online version from Andreas' book "Mastering Bitcoin" - it is available in many languages, and also online readable.
