I don't think like you, bitcoin will still be the head of the market even though its price is affected a bit. But for me Bitcoin gold was not enough to beat Bitcoin. On that day, the price of the whole market will go down as they are indirectly affected by the BTC

Will Bitcoin Price worth $5000, What’s To Come for Altcoins???

I think somewhere there is a similar thread like this. People are selling their altcoins for Bitcoins in order to get the Bitcoin gold which is the alt coin for the upcoming fork. If bitcoin will reach or somehow surpassed the $5000 mark, I think Altcoin's price will drop more and we don't have anything to do with that but to wait and wait until the price of altcoins will recover.

Yeah. Bitcoingold and different rumors and news can be the reason for current fluctuations but Bitcoin itself has the potential to reach $5000 and will stay there.

Altcoins are too dependent to bitcoin price. But we don't know the future of bitcoingold, though it may perform as good as bitcoincash, still it would be beneficial to buy altcoins that can show better growth in long term.

That will not but if that was making the price drop again and that just a temporary in my opinion. as you can see the crypto already bounced back in so many times. Who cares about the decrease of the price because that can be jumped again everytime.,

Its very possible to reach $5000 dollar, as it surpassed already the $4500 mark the previous month. Actually the news I read that its $10,000 dollar or some are saying the $6,000 dollar price before the year ends. Whatever the  value, all I know is that its increasing.

yes bitcoin can reach $5000 but not until this october because the fork is coming and i think people still hold their bitcoin to see if they can get btgold for free like bcc yesterday or not. and i think bitcoin price will be around at now price and if there is any down or up, it will not too deep because everyone is waiting the next thing that will happen. but after the fork, i think the price will start to increase and for now, it will be good chance for altcoin to increase because people selling their altcoin to get bitcoin and prepare for btgold.

Its just all prediction becoz of statistics and analysis,but we all know that all prices wasnt stable u till time comes it does.so what i can say is lets just all continue our strategies ,and keep the patience..besides beyond expectation is failire so lets not epxect much for us not to fail much.

What does everyone here base their valuations on? People just throw out stuff like "soon 10,000" or "I think they should be 50,000 each", but very few seem to give a reasoning for it. What kind of approach are you guys using?

Bitcoin reaching to $5000 is not impossible. Bitcoin is constantly growing and with the hardfork just around the corner, there is a huge possibility that bitcoin can even surpass such value by the time it pumps. Altcoins, on the other hand, will be having a hard time to recover but it surely will. Although, there will be some that won't be that affected. For now, with the bitcoin gold buzz and the altcoins on a down low, i guess it is good to keep some altcoins with you and keep them for a while or until its value pumps.

Back to rally : $4881.80 , i wish this weekend we can see 5000$, I wish Bitcoin does not fall like Netherland Tulip bulbs which most bankers predict. My investments are from 2389$ so i am in 2X in my btc holding.
