Recent scandal
This is HyperDoge/ChiefShibe. We fucked up. We apologize. To explain everything in full detail, the development has always been a team of two (EtherDoge and me). Just two days before the unlocking, we had a strong disagreement over the readiness of the token for the exchange. We were extremely excited to have gathered so many wonderful people. However, the concern was the legitimacy in terms of volume and market cap. We had feared that the coin was going to crash and burn on day one. I was okay with that thought, but EtherDoge did not want to lose. He insisted that we continue to lock the coin until the early contributors and insiders could exchange at their fair market price. Now that we know that to be the most foolish thing to do. It was my fault for believing in that. I could have stopped him, but a part of me wanted this community and token to succeed. For that I am sincerely sorry. EtherDoge is no longer with the core team and has left on amicable terms.

To address of the rumors that we can lock and unlock at any time, this is false. Once the timestamp is reached, transferring of the EDOGE token will be allowed regardless of lock bypass. To address the rumor that we can take your tokens at any time. There's no place in the contract where that is allowed. It is simply impossible. Rest assured, I see that theres beginning activity on EtherDelta -- I have full faith that EDOGE is something that can truly result in the future of dogecoin.
