Although it is very possible and bitcoin can cross that level easily no doubt but i think that it may not be such an easy job, i think that it will take more than a year, My personal view is that at the end of 2017 we can expect that bitcoin price will be trading above 8000$ and if it continue the present progress then we can expect that bitcoin price will cross 10000$ in the middle or in last few months of 2018 and i think that it will be really a very good progress.

There are a lot of people making diverse predictions - it will go to $10,000 or it will collapse to zero and is a fraud. I think there are vested interests at play here. People who have already invested are trying to talk up the price. Others are trying to induce panic before getting in cheap.

Not impossible to reach $10K in the next to 6-10 months. Currently, the price is just below $5000. Just a couple of push and we may see $5000 again. If its sustainable then $6000 will be the next goal. As long as the market is very bullish no one can stop the bull run. And if ever it will collapse, don't be afraid, it will recovered as seen from the last price crash caused by the China banning ICO and closing their local exchanges. Bitcoin has this one capacity which is its resiliency from this kind of crash. And the big players knows this, if the price is cheap they buy large amounts and when its high they dump it for instant profit and then wait for a perfect time to buy again.

It's quite very big amount for bitcoin to appreciate but who knows this can happen maybe this will going to be the effect of the upcoming hard fork beside it is really obvious that the market of bitcoin is growing so fast and that more people get interested in bitcoin and investment. This is great and I have also see this come to pass. All the technical indicators are pointing to buying momentum and we would be happy if this your speculation come to pass. I will like to hold my coins for now and if possible buying more. In September bitcoin fall below  $3000 and now aboven $5000 in most of the trading sites. I am also forecasting that before end of this year we may break  $10,000 as the demand is too high compare to it supplies. May the Lord of bitcoin be with us all.

So we're looking at another 50% increase in value over the same period of time Bitcoin took to get a 500% increase (January to October)? Sounds perfectly legitimate, to be honest, and I can't really believe I'm saying this now! I'd be perfectly comfortable if we end up at October 2018 with Bitcoin settling at $5000 actually. Can't see myself buying up more coin in this coming year, but I should finally own my first full Bitcoin by first quarter 2018 if prices hold.

This is probably the last bit of "early adoption stage", isn't it? Buying momentum has never been higher and with regulatory measures firming up in major economies, we're about to enter the age of legitimisation.

To determine the chances of reaching such a higher level its just enough to calculate the price difference that has taken place between the starting day of the year to the present day. In between few issues happened along with few countries and companies adopting bitcoin in large scale. So in the upcoming months if something similar to this happens reaching $10000 or more won't be no more a big deal.

For me, bitcoin still remains unpredictable and obviously have a mind of its own without caring what the market, trader or anyone thinks. Right now the price is hovering around $5100 and we cannot really say if it goes lower or tries to break above the new high $5200. In due time, we will know and I guess we just keep watching. Whichever way, I still do not see any problem cause I am eagerly waiting to buy at any huge dip right now if it mistakenly tries it.

Bitcoin has broken the $5000 so I think the price rise could continue. It seems that Bitcoin has weathered the correction very quickly and will just keep moving. I thought that the $5000 level was the key and that if it broke through, it might just advance to $6000, so I think before the end of the year, we will see the Bitcoin price reach $6000 and it's possible that it won't stop there.

They might be referring to an interview yesterday on CNBC with Michael Novogratz a former principal at investment firm Fortress and an ex-partner at Goldman Sachs. He actually predicted a price of $10,000 in 6 to 10 months. He has been invested a long time and said to have put over $150 million of his own money into crypto. It was a very interesting interview if you can find it anywhere to watch.
