This is a very good and profitable investment but for today about 85% of ico projects are scam and very difficult to choose true project.

I made a lot of good experience with inesting in initial coin offerings. I do not invest a lot in initial coin offrings. I invest just very thoughtful in inital coin offerings. Because just a few of them are good projects and worthwhile to invest. So to find those kind of icos, you need also to do a lot of researches. So you need a lot of time to invest too, to know if these porject could be worthwhile. But if you do that and your 100% safe, theres almost nothing what could fail.

At the moment, I think that the ISO is a bad investment, since there are so many fraudsters, and therefore it is better to find coins that are already traded and to buy them.

Investing in ICO is a good investment and also a bad investment

 Its a 50/50 risk... I prefer to buy coin once its listed

Depending on the project ico you want to participate in development on what: services, production, ...
Assess the potential of the project
Development team is good?
Developed on which platform? Who are the potential customers?
How is the roadmap? Is there a roadmap or not?
Are they interested in investors?
That's just my personal opinion

I would say not. Today, It's hard to know which ICO is good and which is bad. Based on my research, ICO nowadays 50% is a Bad project, 40% Good, 10% Scam.
Reading all detailed information about ICO project doesn't make your money are saved to invest in it.
Always careful if you want to do an investment.

Some ICO's are really good investment choice in cryptocurrency market but there are always trash ICO's in market. It is a known fact in this world.

For example, QuarkChain is great choice for investment in ICO period. It is a great project. I am sure QuarkChain will successful and ICO investors gets more profit in this project. But if you choose a trash project for investment, this will be fail. This is an unavoidable situation.

Ico can be a good investment and can also be a bad one,  it all depends on you. Some people just rush into it without making enough research about the project and without good knowledge of how crypto currencies work. Speaking from experience, I would rather invest in a coin that is on the top 50 list of coin market cap than invest in any Ico.. Ihave lost alot on Ico's. But still I think there are some few that are real and legit.  Some of my friends have benefited from Ico's but I am not willing to try again.
