Whats new for this cryptonote coin?

UltraNote is a clone of XDN, similar but with the following improvements:

Faster block target time
Slower emission curve
Fairer mining rewards, more evenly spread
An active dev team with 8 specified members, each with their own area of expertise
Higher interest rates for term deposits
A coin aimed at mass adoption

Not to mention the bugs that were fixed in the code from XDN

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Start from fresh and fix that crappy libboost problem with the Linux wallet. Or better yet don't even start a coin without a working wallet for the open-source OS Linux.

There are 8 of us monitoring this forum, and we can also be contacted at the following:

support@ultranote.org
http://forum.ultranote.org

But we'll take your point and we'll see if we can extend the number of contact points to include the ones you mention in your post.

If you ask for any the team, one of us should come along quickly as we cover most time zones and work through the night too:

Desp, Shinjuku, SkrillX, Egynw, Lexi, Nichop, Rado, Ultranotenan, Pebkac16

You are mining testnet. Mainnet goes live in approx. 2 hours. You won't get paid for mining on testnet.

I know a man who gave up smoking, drinking, sex and rich food. He was healthy right up to the day he killed himself.

Once we get this pool back up and running, we will be actively encouraging and supporting the development of other pools.

There will not be a minergate monopoly like there was with XDN

What about announcing a date/time in GMT for the re-launch, so that everyone can prepare VMs, install wallets and point miners to the pool or solo mine?
Please fix the Linux wallet before you re-launch. I know myself how to download and compile that libboost 1.58.0 crap, but I don't think a user should have to do such cryptic terminal hacking.

Hi everyone, I'm SkrillX, a member of the dev team.

Desp is working on the network, it has thrown an error that didn't come up in testing. The pools have been taken offline and we're working hard to get them back to you as soon as we can.

Am I missing something??

The ANN says mining will start at 20 October 0.00GMT to be fair to everyone, but it already started??

Just double checked some messages above, seems it's only testet for now, correct?

They suddenly decided to go for a shit launch today by posting a message and saying oh by the way we started already. Only to see the network crash and halt a short time later.
Really, that's how you don't do it, ever.

Since everyone deserves a second chance, do it properly this time, i.e. a fair launch. Re-launch at a date/time announced at least 24 hours in advance.

Since you claim to be an international team working in different time zones, you should be able to communicate a time zone for the date/time of the launch. Preferably GMT. And then stick to it.

Sweet! A new coin! Cryptonite is only CPU mining? This cannot be mined by graphic cards or how is that?

What is the pre-mine for this developers?
