I'm working together with a friend to recruit talented people who want to help us to launch a coin with an ACTUAL innovative new function.
Naturally, I can't give it away here because someone will run away with it and start it for themselves.

We need a coder who is good enough to actually write code to add to a scrypt coin, not just change a few parameters.

PM me for an invitation to our private forum.

Only people I trust will be allowed in, after they promise to keep a non-disclosure agreement.

I will vouch for his ideas too, very good and haven't been done yet in cryptos. Not sure I know how to implement them but someone will!

Why not say what the new innovations are up front. If your motivations are to truly make a great coin for the benefit of all users, then you should just state them right here. Otherwise it just looks like you are trying to make $$$.

I have some ideas:
1. implement a way to attach invoices/messages to each transaction. This would foster a better incitement for merchants.
2.sha-512 or some other memory intensive hashing to make mining as decentralized as possible.
3. not only no pre-mine (of course), but release it 1 month in advance of the genesis block mining so the community can analyze it, make recommendations to make it better, and get prepared.

Just my 2 cents

hmm have a great idea, but don't know how to program.  how do you know it can be implemented if you don't know how to code.

I've been coding for 15 years and if I had a nickel for all the people who came into my office saying they have a great idea for a feature or a change request without the slightest idea as to the amount of effort that will be required to implement it.

if you can't implement your idea its not a good one.  if its so great that its going to revolutionize the world then...

This will help

even worst, it seems they think developers like to work for free and 1 idea is everything.

one idea is nothing if you are not able to develop it. So, as it is the case, and as Haze comments, make it public, go and pay a developer, or even better, learn C++

and anyway, fortunately, unless in my country, who do something "with his brain and hands" is having the 100% of the rights even if someone is paying u to do it.

I sent a PM.  Full disclosure to everyone else.  I'm not really looking to help code such a project.  I work with the Microcash project and we've had a lot of discussions and thought about our work.  True innovation takes time, and that amount of time seems to grow exponentially when you work on this stuff as a side project.

Regardless, I'm more than willing to talk about my observations and experiences while working on a not-yet-released crypto that's going to look considerably different than anything that's out there.

I just hope you don't release before we do. Wink

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

who cares if it looks the same.  IBM compatibles were all the time.  People need to stop thinking that there is going to be one crypto that will rule them all.  There will be several each with a different purpose because each will perform better at certain aspects of life and or economics.  You will burn yourself and your crypto if you try to make it everything for everyone.  It will end up just being a mediocre piece of code.  The crypto industry will have many player each will have their moment in the sun.

The reason I want to keep the new function a secret is because Zack approached me to help him get a group together and do some PR and ... keep it a secret Smiley

Since it's his idea I'm respecting his wishes.
