I intend to do Bitcoin long term. In fact, I hope to make full time income off it. I see cryptocurrencies as high prospect.
Now, why do people sell Hero and Legendary accounts?
How much do you make just on this forum with such accounts on signature campaigns ONLY?
Thank you for your inputs.

Well speaking about alt-Accounts yes there are many users who make many many accounts and nobody does anything because there is no rule that you can not make those. The only rule here is you can not use multiple accounts in a single campaign. People get paid according to the signature campaign payout which you can see on the campaign thread.as I have a hero account and I earn a decent income to survive on my internet packs so I do not need any additional accounts. Now people sell them because people pay a good price depending on the accounts potential or according to the rank.

I'm a memebre and I participated until now in 2 signature campaigns. In my opinion many signature campaigns do not pay sufficient to make a living out of participating each day in the bitcointalk discussions. What I earned was between 6-10 USD/week, and I had to paricipate every day in 3-5 discussions. From what I have read, when you are a hero or Legenday member you do not make more than 200-400 each month by participating in these signature campaigns. Let's say the price of bitcoin remains unchanged. 400 USD/month in Europe is barely sufficient to survive. If you do not have a job, you can say goodbye to bitcointalk after 6-12 months of participating in discussions here. This is 1-2 hours of daily disccussions with many people of different opinions and nationalities.
This is why in my opinion some people sell hero and legendary accounts. They do not earn sufficient to make it worth. A job that pays in bitcoin is better.

Forgive my inquisitiveness, but give me an insight what 'a decent income' is on a Hero account. Thank you.

They sell Hero,Legendary or any other rank account for several reasons.,First is that they need money and you can get very nice price for good account these days. Some make nice business of that and they made many accounts years ago,now they sell them.Considering that is take years to become Hero or Legendary, these account are always in demand. Depending on the campaign user can earn up to 0.04 per week(Fortune Jack) and this is really great amount of money.Hero and Legendary members are usually paid from 0.015 to 0.03 BTC per week. This is nice extra money if you can be active and make constructive and quality post. It's quite interesting to know that people sell their hero and legendary accounts after doing tons of hardwork. I don't know why are they doing this, but they forget that it is a long term investment and they are really missing an opportunity which is going to have a great demand in future. Its people psychological behaviour, where they are ready to loose future big gains for short term small gains. I think this forum will soon update the security nodes and will make strict rules and action for people who are selling their accounts.

Yes, there are many people who sell their accounts here on this forum. This is usually done because such people need money and so try to find a quick way to earn some Bitcoin. That's very easy to explain and understand. Maybe there's even someone who get tired with this forum (or crypto in general) so they decide to sell their account in order to make money before leaving...Yes, good signature campaigns are more profitable, you are right.

To become a hero member you"ll need an activity of 480 and if I am not wrong the fastest time to get there is 480 days or one year and four months. Every two weeks your activity goes up by 14 if you are active.

I personally dont think that is a bad idea to sell hero/legendary accounts here on the forum, who ever does that I consider them to be smart, since its requires a lot of hard work for your account to end up ranking hero/legendary, years of posting day and night. Besides if the buyer decides to participate in signature campings, he will end up making up all the money he spent for buying that account and even make profit since hero/ legendary members earn up to .035 or even more per week.

I cannot see having a Hero or legendary account being able to provide an income from it. I mean at the most you would earn .05 of a bitcoin per year in the grand scheme of things, it is not that much. I see it as a bonus for doing a very part time job.

People sell their account probably because they don't want to get involved with this forum anymore. Or they have a lot of accounts, cannot handle them all, and have no use for them. The current highest pay for Hero and Legendary Member is 0.03 per week for making a minimum of 30 posts (0.001[bitcoin]/post). The average pay is 0.0007 I think. You can compare signature campaign pay rate in the Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns

Selling of accounts really need to be prohibited in the forum, there are so many users who are buying tons of them only for using them to drain all the signature campaign's funds, it is horrible to see that there are dozens of users from only one person. And their posts are usually a shit posting with no more than a line, what a shame, i dont know why people is still able to sell them and buy them.

Who cares? Signature campaigns are scammy as fuck. smh
|
This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Also same campaigns are not reaching their(high) target in the crowdfunding so no one is going to pay you for the job that you have done, posting or translating their staff .
its quite a luck as well in which project you will involve at

That's unbelievable if its say lots it is hard to handle lots of accounts even only 1 account is honestly hard to handle because you need to be constructive poster and there are some campaigns that you can be listed in SMAS list if you are not aware about what you posting.. And being a hero member i was here 2015 and i am thankful that i found this forum that actually can help you to have a savings and investment with bitcoin.. So i think those who had Hero account are those people who are planning from the start to make lots of account just to sell it in the future.. This should not be allowed that is why signature campaign right now are always full and really hard to join .. But since we have still campaign managers and some active member here to decrease those people who are using alt accounts and add to SMAS list can give other people to join and earn few bitcoins just to spreading it to newbie and learn how bitcoin works.. I am not planning to sell my account in the future even the value is really high.

I only have one account and it so hard for me to finish a single weekly campaign stake because I have a work and I can only do the postings at home. I wonder how others manage their time to make additional accounts. I have just joined 8 sig campaigns so far and 2 from these are scams. Yes the good ones pays a lot.
