Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Do you have a fixed rate fee when withdrawing funds? You didn't mention about it and not in site's FAQ as well. Also, I read this for buyer protection "Only release Escrow funds once you've received your order and are happy with it.", how would you protect the seller in this case?

Since you have ShapeShift integrated, can we pay with altcoins as well?

The withdrawal fee varies based on network congestion, we use an algorithm to pay the most optimal fee and batch withdrawals together to make sure those fees are negligible. The buyer will be forced to either release the funds (if no action is taken, the transaction is auto finalized in the favor of the vendor) or dispute the payment, at which point Escrow will be able to release the funds to vendor manually.

Not yet, ShapeShift integration was primarily to switch between coins already supported (being Bitcoin and Litecoin at the moment). We will however add in the support for paying with altcoins via ShapeShift.

That's better than a fixed rate, good to know. For the seller protection, you should put those info in the FAQ as well.
For the prices in the site, I suggest you to use only BTC or BTC or if you want to use mBTC just put mBTC instead of putting both. It was posted like mBTC BTC 2.6 as of now and it looks confusing to the buyers. Roll Eyes

Awesome then. However having ShapeShift for exchanging between the accepted coins so far is also a good idea.

Also, we have added web push currency alerts, once you agree to receive push notifications, you can set any pair and any condition you want (e.g. 100 LTC < 1 BTC , or 1 BTC > 6000 USD) and it will alert you within a minute of the currency rate change. Feel free to test it even if you are not planning to buy or sell on our website Smiley

CoinMall also allows to create 'hidden' stores and products, so if you just want to sell your product without having it listed in search or anywhere on the site, you can do that easily!

P.S.  obviously you will have to send direct link to these products to your buyers if you want to sell the product Smiley

Why don't you do like Electrum and let the user choose the Bitcoin base unit they want for the products (BTC, mBTC or bits)? I really deslike the mBTC indicator as this tends to make me confuse on how much Bitcoins something is really worth.

Other than that, the website looks great. What I don't like on the other competitors - such as Rocketr -, is that we can't really "browse" the website for products, as you need the shop url to see what is for sell.

From Electrum:

Some of you may wonder what the difference is between CoinMall and OpenBazaar. We have released a blog post explaining the difference between the two and make a case on how CoinMall differs itself from, and is better than, OpenBazaar: https://medium.com/@coinmallio/5-reasons-why-coinmall-is-better-than-openbazaar-f5470b59e8e2

There are some blatantly scam-like offers being currently sold in your site. An example of one is this one here: https://www.coinmall.io/i/gDW2b/bitcoin-doubler-scirpt-blockchain-api-v2. Do you plan to moderate the items sold on your site or are you planning to leave this to the end users? If you do decide to take a hands-off approach to items such as this one, I could see your site start being associated with such behavior and potentially fail. If you do moderate the entries, what guidelines would you be using to differentiate between scams, scammy items, and real items?

The site has good potential, design etc. but how long can you operate without any kind of fees. What's your revenue model and also the site is not very popular yet. Any marketing plans or just promotion on bitcointalk.

We are currently looking at various options to have items moderated without deleting them.
One such option would be to give selected community-chosen users the ability to give a tag/label to items which are blatant scams. In addition, we're also adding Product Comments so users can see what other users think of the item.

Our revenue model consists of opt-in product upsells (promoting a listing in various ways) as well as launching supplementary platforms and tools in the near future. This way we don't have to charge fees for using and transacting on CoinMall.

That makes sense. You should also consider a system such as eBay's where each seller can have their own feedback page for people to either vouch positively or negatively and aid other users in deciding whether to purchase from said seller or not. In my opinion, this is one of the reasons eBay got so big in the first place and why their system got adopted by even bigger players such as Amazon and their Amazon Marketplace. This way, there would not be much of a cost to you when it comes to moderating items, as it will all end up being mostly self-moderated for the community. However, regulations should still be in place to avoid spam and fake feedback from being posted in the same way as it is with services such as Yelp, where people are paid to post fake reviews. I look forward to examining how you solve this.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.
