Introducing Quickcoin!

IMPORTANT: DO NOT Download Binaries Posted By Hazard - They Contain a Rootkit.

Quickcoin Faucet: http://www.freebitcointips.co.uk/quickcoin

Source: https://github.com/quickcoin2013/quickcoin
Windows:https://github.com/quickcoin2013/quickcoin-windows/archive/master.zip
Linux: https://github.com/quickcoin2013/quickcoin-linux/archive/master.zip

Specs:

Block Time: 5 seconds
Block Reward: 8
Confirmations: 4
Coins: 500 Million
Difficulty Re-target: 1/4 day
Max 125% difficulty adjustment
Pre-Mine: 0.1% = 500,800 coins (101 blocks) for Bounties and Future development *
We have made all the right improvements to speed, difficulty re-target, difficulty adjustments.  No hard fork ever needed
Please be sure to check your values when setting up a P2Pool, etc

Initial Bounties/Subsidies:

1500 Block Explorer
1500 For 1st Working Pool (must show that its working)
1500 Quickcoin Faucet
2000 Quickcoin Lottery
2000 Quickcoin Dice
?      Misc - Pitch an idea
[DONE - Waiting for dev's address] 2500 Quickcoin Brainwallet/Paperwallet Generator (like bitaddress.org)
10,000 Apple Store Game That Uses Quickcoin for In App Purchases there are restrictions
7,500 Rebate/Subsidy for accepting Quickcoin as payment for e-commerce there are restrictions

Additional Bounties/subsidies are available as needed, Will be paying additional developers for their ideas.  We are interested in the ability to use Quickcoin for a variety of applications, from in app purchases, to online gaming, to e-commerce.

Q&A:
1) Will there be orphans:  Rest assured orphans are part of the initial low difficulty mining, and those with a high hash rate will win blocks that your miner thought it solved.
2) You pre-mined 500K coins? Yes, do you think the dev should release a coin, mine, and pour their coins earned mining (and electricity costs) towards bounties and coin improvements?  The 500K coins will be used to further the coin, including paying for infrastructure, development, promotion, etc.  They are not part of our personal stash, and will not be "dumped".  We want to see this coin at $10, not 10 cents.
3) Why is the difficulty so low?  Funny story, we set out to produce a coin that started at difficulty 1 - all the stories of a difficulty 1 genesis block taking weeks are true - we gave up after 6 1/2 days.
4) Will there be chain bloat?  Likely down the road, but that will be addressed soon enough, and there are also a few ideas being kicked around that could eliminate the need of a wallets need to download the blockchain at all for everyday transactions.
