I am not trolling, but I like to read the off-topic and sometimes people post their sob stories. And it just kills my day, real or fake still makes me questions my own morality and I want to be able to block those. So having a sob story sub forum would allow me to do this the best way.

Maybe. It kinda bugs me. When I read it, it plays a freaking symphony on my heartstrings but when I read the replies, I snap back to reality mode and start feeling supiscion. I guess there could be one though I think other people, who spent more time in these forums, could decide better.

It would only entice people to post more fake stories. There's a bitbegging site out there I forgot the name of filled to the brim with the most retardedly shameless and obviously faked stories. You'd have all of that here too.

The only issue with a sub-board like that is the same issue that came up when a board for rants was proposed:

People want to have their sob stories/spam/rants/whatever read by people.  If there's a specific sub-board for that, then less people would read the stuff that is posted there.  The ranters wouldn't like that, so a sub-board would be a bad idea.
