According to the WP 10% will be held as a contingency reserve. Why so much (2.6kk USD) need to be spend on contingency reserve? Can you provide more details about this cost?
A high amount of funds needs to be saved as contingency, because legal costs in the US can rapidly balloon. This is something very typical with US corporations, just done for long term safety.
Can you say whether there were any similar precedents?

I generally like the project. In the first two blockchains - this makes the system stable. Even if in one of them overload, as happens with the ethereum , you can work anyway. In addition, new, decentralized systems with low commissions are really needed in this market

I think it's better to ask about it in the bounty topic. But, probably, someone from the team will answer here.

Good progress on the ICO, Qchain! You guys are real underdogs, no shadowy backers behind you. Small team with amazing results. Rooting for you to keep climbing!

The community should take note of a transparent, responsive project like this one.

In general, the process of identifying a person - KYC is difficult? Or it is necessary to send only the passport. I recently sent documents for identification to the ICON project, they demanded to close the passport number, take a photo with a passport near the face, etc.

Pretty EASY. Two photos, one mail... and done! Nobody likes KYS. But KYS is the wrost of evils.

Btw guys are there any real cooperation with companies that are interested in your product? Can you name that? Cause as I see you already have alpha product and there should exist some negotiations accordingly.

Guys, I glad to see here discussion. Also I think that together we can make more for Qchain. Do not forget each crypto project needs:

1. Good Idea
2. Team
3. Strong community

Strong community is WE! Lets think what WE can do for project right now!

In terms of blockchain startups, IEx.ec allocated around 7% for contingency. That's a lower proportion than us, but they also targeted and got a much larger ICO at around $13 million USD at the time of the close of the crowdsale. We're just targeting a reasonable $1 million to power the development of our application, and 10% of that is not a lot of money. Should the SEC decide suddenly do an about face for blockchain startups and be more restrictive, we need to have the funds to be prepared for legal matters, just in case. It's not likely, but as a company with long terms plans and visions, we have to be prepared.

Apple, Microsoft, Google, Uber, and smaller US startups also keep a large amount proportionally saved up, with a big motivation for that being unforeseen legal expenses.

With the newness and uncertainty of blockchain tech, having a contingency is especially important for long term stability and financial security.
By far the reserves need to have, you are doing it right. Thank you for this informative answer.
