I really think it is pretty impossible to say that this year we can reach the $100,000 mark value even if there are no bad comment and news hitting up on bitcoin because that ind of prediction and speculation is pretty too far to make an assumption that we can make it to that kind of value, basically we had reach the $5800 value then goes down again at $5600 mark, I really think there are resistance that involving in certain increase on the price.

Speculation is bad but this is only option to take money from losers. It is the way to trasnfer money/wealth from idiot to smart. Emotions are same during all this market trends and speculative actions can fool other market participants.

It can happen as more people get into Bitcoin. When price goes up as much as it has gone lately, Bitcoin is advertised. More people tell their friends about Bitcoin, it gets more and more in the news... gets more attention and that means more people in and also more money in.

I think Bitcoin mostly gets its value when people replace part of their trust in cash with trust in Bitcoin. Cash represents goods in the world, so when cash moves into Bitcoin, bitcoin represents physical goods more and more.

It is too early for bitcoin to reach $10,000 by the end of the year. If it will reach the said price, it wouldn't be healthy for bitcoin market in the future after all, a sudden rise will certainly cause a tremendous downward trend in price. Some bitcoin holders tend to dump btc when price is high and bitcoin reaching even $6,000 is not an exception. Nevertheless, I won't deny the possibility of it reaching $10,000 before this year ends but I doubt it. The most achievable at the moment before the year ends is $6,000.

I'm also optimistic with the pricing of bitcoin and $10,000 we'll surely be hitting that in the future but right now I guess it's quite impossible to see that happening on December. But if it will be able to get into $8,000 next month before the hard fork on November happens then I'll give myself a good vibes and hope about it. But for now, I'm looking into it as stable at $5,000 this is a good optimism thinking.

I think it's impossible to happen, bitcoin prices have risen quite high in this year maybe some bitcoin holders will sell their bitcoin long before the fork comes because they fear the bitcoin price is not able to survive after the fork.

It's good that you are optimistic but sorry to say that it's very impossible that we'll be reaching $10,000 this year even though we keep on saying that everything is possible to happen with bitcoin.

2 months time for reaching $10,000 is not enough and I guess we will see this then on 2018 but not for now.

But if luckily $10,000 will happen for this year then that's going to be one of the best thing that ever happened in bitcoin history.

Well, it is still a mere assumption which is bound to happen and may not happen before end of the year. There may be a serious decline in the market value of bitcoin especially as we draw close to November segwit2x exercise. There may be Panic sell just like what happen in August Except something else happen positively in favour of bitcoin.

It is too early for bitcoin to reach $10,000 by the end of the year. I do not see this huge pattern continuing eventually. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it won't still come up, but people are realizing that so many news are coming in the next few years that would make a whole lot of changes in the crypto world, most especially for bitcoin.

As people keep dumping due to price increase and there are some big players using that for their profit, gradually the attitude of dumping pretty much will subside. The volatility will still continue since we will have some market controllers and crypto traders, but will not be as huge as it is most especially for bearish trend and the bullish trend will continue on more adoption.

Since the beginning of time, a whole lot of people have been trying their best to make bitcoin impossible and they could just not make that possible. We cannot really say if this is going to be an attainable value before the year runs out but I can say it is still possible.

What I think is that we are going to reach the 10.000 post on btc price prediction before the end of the year. I visit some stock market forum and at least there, people try to justify price predictions on some graphs, charts and stuff.

Most of those who get excited when btc hits an ATH, those who think of the next ATH and the next one, end up selling at a loss when the first dip comes.

Generally, to make forecasts for the future regarding the price of Bitcoin does not make much sense. Literally 10% of all can be dropped, and everything else is just empty words. If today Bitcoin broke its Maximum of $ 5,800, it could reach 6,000 next time.

I agree that blowing through $5k was a great sign of higher prices to come, and that it could take time.  I think that the consolidation that we're seeing since the rally occurred is very healthy and sets the stage for another leg up.

But I'm not as sure as you are that the bitcoin gold fork will lead to a price drop.  If everyone dumps their forked coins for BTC, that could lead to a further increase in demand and thus price for BTC.

I would definitely say we have a good chance of pushing to that level, whether we head to that mark will depend on the result of forking and what occurs in the sphere. Relatively I feel we are in a position as a community to hit it whether the target will hit the bar in the next 3 months makes it a bit challenging but not far out of the possible target range.

The price falling again so this is just a normal price movement of bitcoin after the price went up high and was close to $6,000 but it wasn't able to break the wall. The decrease was quick, it was now at $5,379 so expect that we can reach up to $5,000 and even go lower at $4,000. And if this happens every trader will take the chance to buy a lot of it at dip and this will fuel again the price of bitcoin before the hard fork.

Yes I also agree that bitcoin prices will be quite difficult to reach 10K $ in this year.
the most rational price may be in the range between 6K $ to 8K $.
but bitcoin usually gives a miracle, so it's not impossible to reach that price range.
