Easy test.
Everyone asks for a refund, begining with the latest pre-orders.

Once everyone after you in the order log has resigned, you might as well do so, since if you change your mind you can still place a new order right away, and end up at the same place, or close.

Doing that backwards while getting refunds should not be too risky. If you're close enough to the top of the pyramid.
And you can reinvest this cash into better gambles.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

What he is saying is to have everyone cancel their orders and request refunds then remake their orders. This is simply not a good idea. You also spelled BFL wrong.

I don't see any problem here.

OP, you can't be recommending we get off the lung transplant list so you get yours first. Not fair.

I would not place a pre-order at this moment in time. The end of the internet may come and go before you'd ever receive your Jalepeno.

The internet won't end in our lifetime dude. And you may as well wait for gen 2 ASICs I guess. It's only a matter of time.

Agree, technology grows by leaps and bounds, rather wait for a next generation much faster ASIC then go with pre-orders.   You may never see your money back again.

Why? I just got my tracking number a few hours ago.. looks like they are hard at work getting the jalapenos out the door - a year late, but better than nothing.

What would be the point in ordering something, just to pull the order?
Also - it would lead to the prisoner dilemma and so forth. The persons not canceling their orders would move forward in the cue, and the first ones to reorder would come before later reorders.
Not to mention that you would have no idea who and how many asked for refunds as the orderbook is not open.
If you have ordered, and have gotten second thoughts, It's probably a good idea to cancel and spend the money otherwize. But doing it as a group thing sounds just weird.

BitCoin is NOT a pyramid - it's a pagoda.

Best post so far.  Has had me laughing for minutes.  Can't spell BFL and totally does not make sense while also looking to be a serious statement.  All I want to know is when is Comedy Central going to pick up this forum.
