Help with Bitcoin Sync

I have just installed Bitcoin 0.82 QT inside my new computer, it has 8 active connections but 8 hours after running, there is still 0 block in the syncing.   The message is still Synchronizing with the network.....but 0 blocks.  What should I do?

Check firewall, if it's blocking qt connections.

Firewall is ok, connections ok, I ended up deleting the entire wallet and restarting and the sync starts

Did you reinstalled Bitcoin 0.82 QT again ?
