Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Cheesy He just stop from commenting and how he sees the All Time High right now, I really think he is profiting from the price of bitcoin right now, or waiting for the right time on making a FUD again if it reach another level, or he admits that he can not win against bitcoin and pledged to ever stop commenting about bitcoin, and said to the article I recently red It’s almost as if bitcoin’s whales are toying with him.

Just goes to show how this man alone can manipulate bitcoin without openly admitting he's invested into it. The way how he talks and give comments about the coin just shows that he also has his own money invested into it. Just watch this man take back his own statement when several other business firms "studies" and "looks" into investing their money into bitcoin. Of course since he has a head start, he'll try to take care of those coins very well and dump it in the face of other people when he's made enough profit.

Actually the main reason of his new statement to not to talk anymore about Bitcoin is the JPMorgan biggest competitors in banking world. From Canada to USA, some big bankers have decided to provide financial services in cryptocurrencies. Where the Wall Street rivals Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are already considering Bitcoin, JPMorgan simply can't lose the market by being wary of cryptos. Thus, such statement was indeed required. They can't openly inherit cryptocurrencies in their system by speaking against it.

I said this before, he is most definitely into Bitcoin but he is just trying to get in cheap like everyone else. The only thing you need to know is he is a banker and bankers are drawn to money like bees to honey. If there is money to be made you can be sure bankers are interested. With Bitcoin being up nearly 500% this year alone, it definitely is getting their attention.

Jamie Dimon should better begin mining bitcoin for his own good

why!
he is making a lot of money from trading bitcoin, or at least his associates are. whenever there is an FUD out of his mouth like this (with perfect timing i should add) there is a big dip and another big recover afterwards. the profit of margin trading or even simply buying the bottom is always huge.

There is a FOMO brewing...

But mining would pay him more too, once he's able to cut deals with electricity distributors

That's funny. It's true though, the more it rises the less you hear about people slandering it. You can't really stop the crypto movement, it may be small now but it's increasing for sure. More and more people will jump into it one way or another whether or not they realize they are are using the technology.

Jamie Dimon is irrelevant. It would be better for us to completely ignore him. What I gather from the graph is that people listened to him at first, then ignored him afterward. It's worth noting that his 'Bitcoin is a fraud' comment recently coincided with the China ICO and exchange ban, which was the true driving force behind the sharp drop. Everyone has caught on to Dimon's agenda by now. He's not a factor anymore.

he just makes himself look stupid by saying all these. and it has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin. bitcoin price may have stayed the same or even dropped to $0 and he still would have been looked upon as some idiot.

you see he is from US, the same country with multiple gigantic companies accepting bitcoin (the same bitcoin he calls fraud) as payment.
Microsoft, Dell, Overstock.com, Valve, even PayPal has partnered up with coinbase and bitpay!, and a lot more...
are all these accepting a "fraud" or just one guy is an idiot Cheesy

Jamie had his reasons and we don't know what kind of scheme he is doing but surely in his mind, he is waiting for bitcoin to crash and express the phrase "i told you so". I take it that he is an experienced businessman but to be spouting such negative comments is not just because he hates but he might have infos that only he and his allies can understand. But still as of now, he got the wrong idea on bitcoin.

Hahaha, this is a very good point!

Jamie Dimon is great for Bitcoin. All press is good press as they say.

It would be great if Dimon had something constructive (as in any single fact or logical reason) for his point of view. It would make him look like he has an ounce of credibility to match his status in the banking world.

Mr. Dimon is just playing a game and he would be known in the history of Bitcoin to be one of its well-known critics. And now that Bitcoin is surging ahead into the $6,000 territory and many are projecting it to be within $10,000 at least within next year, some critics stopped commenting on what can happen with Bitcoin. Maybe these people just failed to fully comprehend cryptocurrency as they kept on hampering us analogy with many historical bubbles like the tulip bulb mania centuries ago which if we analyzed deeply is not really as fair comparison.

Now, that the value is rising there is a big possibility that we might be hearing comments about the possibility of Bitcoin popping up and crashing to the ground. Well, the more these people are warning us the more it would rise as shown by the graph above where Dimon got the habit of painting Bitcoin as just another scammy ponzi.

It is really about time that we teach people like Dimon a good lesson as far as Bitcoin is concerned.

He always gives the Critics for bitcoin and when he against the bitcoin then how he is good for bitcoin as you said. I have went with his press release from the year starting. Even steve jobs and bill gates pass the potential of bitcoin and said many times 'bitcoin is uncontrollable and future of the currency' when compare with those legends he is just a pin drop. Lets through him out and China.

Like the legends say,you need critics in your life to be successful.Bitcoin has kinda proved that! Jamie isn't the only one.

he just makes himself look stupid by saying all these. and it has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin. bitcoin price may have stayed the same or even dropped to $0 and he still would have been looked upon as some idiot.
Accurate.I wonder why he is even taken seriously.Such individual must be history from the science of bitcoins.

you see he is from US, the same country with multiple gigantic companies accepting bitcoin (the same bitcoin he calls fraud) as payment.
Microsoft, Dell, Overstock.com, Valve, even PayPal has partnered up with coinbase and bitpay!, and a lot more...

Those companies aren't really helping bitcoin, those big commercial names would just swallow the concepts and sell it.I'm against those corporates interfering with bitcoins.

I'm thinking this guy has an alter ego that is buying bitcoin and other crypto currency, he is making that announcement for other to sell their Bitcoin and then his alter ego buys what those dumpers did, so if this is true then he is very rich now, anyway I don't care about this guy and I think we should ignore this guy.
