Hey,

I bought my first bitcoins at btcdirect.com, friends of me use this site as well and they never had any problems. I use Electrum as my wallet. In the Electrum-app I clicked on receive, this generated an receiving adres to which I transferred the bitcoins. So I directly send my bitcoins to my wallet. At blockchain.info I see that the transaction is paid but not a confirmed transaction. In my wallet it says unconfirmed parent.

Does anyone know what to do? My friend use a different wallet and they can't help me.

Kind regards!

maybe you should wait until it confirmed. The network is really busy now so maybe it will take sometime to confirmed. Anyway, can you paste your txid in here?

I'm doing steam artwork.Official thread (Indo, but please pm me even if you're english speaker) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5323281

You can also try to use CPFP method if the fee is too low for that transaction, since you do own an address to one of it's outputs.

As being requested above please do give your txid so that we can able to see regarding on the fee you set in but totally the nearest answer to this is that you should really wait since theres really a congestion on the network which you can actually found here https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions . There lots of pending transactions which we can presume that your transfer is on traffic unless if you set high fees which somehow priority your transaction by miners.

Because you are not the sender of the transaction, there is not much that you can do. If the transaction spends from an unconfirmed transaction (which is what unconfirmed parent means), then your transaction cannot confirm until its unconfirmed parent confirms as well. Depending the transaction fee rate of your transaction and its unconfirmed parent(s), this could take a long time. You can try submitting the transaction to transaction accelerator services like https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
