Hello all,

I've been following the news about Bitcoin due to my work as a payment systems consultant. To generate more awareness about the project, I'd suggest you enter it for the 'Florin' transaction service innovation awards.

From the e-mail:

‘Florin’ Transaction Services Innovation Awards
Call for Candidates Extended by 31 January 2011

In keeping with last year's tradition, EPCA Conference (www.epcaconference.com) and The Paypers bring you the second edition of the ‘Florin’ Transaction Services Innovation Awards.
By popular demand, the Call for Candidates for the ‘Florin’ Awards 2011 has been extended. You now have until 31 January 2011 to enter your innovative service or product into the race and take a stab at becoming one of the three Florin 2011 winners.

The Call for Candidates for the Florin Awards 2011 closes on 31 January 2011 COB. The Florin Nominees will be announced on 14 February 2011 SOB and community voting can take place up to the start of the EPCA Conference on www.thepaypers.com. Visit our dedicated Florin Awards page (http://thepaypers.com/florin) to see a complete list of benefits for both Florin nominees and Florin 2011 winners.

Click here (http://thepaypers.com/florin) to enter your innovative product or service now!

After completing the application form, please e-mail it to our Florin Awards team at florin@thepaypers.com.

There will be three Florin winners: 'Winner Jury Vote', 'Winner Community Vote' and 'Best Product Pitch'. The winner of the latter is invited to participate in the international SWIFT-Innotribe start-up contest during SIBOS 2011.

Okay, I'll send them a message. If there are other service providers you know of that would fit the application, don't hesitate to pass on the info!
