Customs and VAT in UK?

Hello. I bought 3 L3+s from BITMAINs website for a friend. I'm getting them delivered to my house, and I noticed that there is no VAT and that I would have to pay customs when it is shipped.
How do I go about paying for customs, do any miners in the UK know how much it would cost on top of the original price? And how would I go about paying these custom and VAT fees?
