I can't figure out what "currency code" means.
Does it mean token address? like 0xfagra~~~~~~.

What you call currency code, is called a ticker. Ethereum is ETH and ethereum classic ETC.

It is a fork of Ethereum.... It's a long story and I think you should read it yourself. In short - ETC  is a scam.

Why do you think it is a scam? I hope it is not for the reason everyone loves Ethereum, just how everyone loves Bitcoin and all of its forks have to be scams.

Thats no problem. Everyone not same. Nobody comes to learn.
Ethereum classic (ETC) address same as starting 0xc8.  This is alt of Ethereum. ☺☺
