At the time of posting this 3 upvotes, 7 downvotes. Plus every comment in the post has been downvoted. Telling me that the smarter people are going to downvote my whole thread and everyones comments so they can post and upvote themselves using fake accounts. Can't say I'm surprised this got messy. Can't say I'm not amused either. So basically I'm giving away 1 bitcoin to the biggest scumbag. Whatever, lesson learned. It was worth it. I honestly had more respect for people. Egg on my face.

Either way I figured you guys would get a kick out of it. Notice the disgust and rage. People don't like bitcoin. I know posting this here will greatly fuck with my experiment. But for some reason I want to. Maybe I'm hoping you guys will flock to it in masses and upvote it, but that's stupid. However if that's how it happens then I'd rather one of you get it. And not some dipshit as a collective joke.

i read a few lines on the page you linked to but that was about it. it seems like a waste of time.
i never quite understood reddit and therefore never use the website. i am not the cool i suppose.
i guess it is comparable to another website i never use by the name of 4chan?

Lesson learned: when money comes into play, regardless of amount, 99,99% of the people turn into complete and total assholes.

Reddit is a funny place, you definitely need to brush up on your http://www.reddit.com/help/reddiquette . I'm surprised you got away with it so lightly.

It's basically equivalent to the first thing on the list, pleading for votes.  Except you're trying to bribe your way to votes instead of just pleading for them.  Maybe you had good intentions, to raise awareness of bitcoins, but it still looks tawdry.
