First. Welcome to mining!

First off, do you know what coin you want to mine? Or what algorithm?

For example, a Scrypt miner can mine many different coins. Same with X11.

With your budget you could start out with an Antminer ASIC machine but they are costly. You can find those at http://bitmain.com .  If you can't buy one from the manufacturer you can find some on ebay or craigslist for a huge markup.

Alternatively, you can get a custom built GPU rig. Youtube is a treasure trove for videos on how to make your own or you can simply buy one.

So unfortunately I can answer your questions exactly without more info.

I hope this help!

Yes welcome to the world of miners!

I started my journey into mining less than a year now. I pretty much started from not knowing much at all. But ive picked up alot of knowledge and experience since the day i started.

At the moment you have a very broad question. Everything depends on what you want to mine, what hardware is available to you, your local price for hardware, electricity cost for you, shipping vat or import taxes?

You definitely will need to do your due diligence, i faced alot of challenges starting up my mining facility  and i had still encountered issues.

If you would like to speak directly, i can offer some advice and shipping logistic questions. Feel free to pm me.
Happy mining!! Just try to enjoy the process and it will eventually pay off.

I will just presume that you are a technical inclined person that at least know what are hashrates are, your budget is fine and could already start different type of mining algo's, If I were you, Identify or know what do you have right now and considerations.

examples are:

- Mining equipment locations, I guess you don't want to hear a Full speed Vacuum cleaner roaring 24/7 beside you or your bedroom. Proper ventilations as miners produce heat and need to drive it out. consider also your neighborhoods distance.

- Electrical capacity, It if overlooks you may catch fire while mining, ensure all wires and breakers have enough current/voltage that could handle

- Technical expertise, this can be a bit challenging as a miners life will surely face technical problems along the way, you may not want to be disrupted operating your miners and provide or ensure a 100% uptime.

GTX1060 or RX580 is one of the most cost efficient cards.
You could try 3 of GTX1060 8way or RX580 8way.

The funny thing is that i know this pic from a youtube vid wich is 2 months old and this guy selling asic miners. If you put his name in google.... My honest advice is to not buy from not trusted sides, to many scams are there outside. Also the time from Asics passing buy for small private miners, not profitable anymore, zero resell falue... Best is to start small with some gpus, see if you like it and if not you have a new home pc or you can easly resell it or send it back to amazon within 30 days...  Grin Grin

If your area electricity are expensive / u dont have any knowledge of maintaining the miner / dont have much time to look at it just wanna see income.
Let me recommend u Giga-watt.com
I personally bought a D3 miner from them waiting till Dec to start u can send miners over too but i dont know how much would it cost but buying from them seems to be a deal.
i counted around $150 per month for rental, maintenance, etc (round up)
Go coinwarz to calculate the hash power / price pool fee just set it to 2% /   Power Cost  = 0 dont forget ur hard ware price = Monthly income - rental = $150 = profit

Ps. i do not prompt for Giga-watt.com good things are meant to be shared.

What do u really want to mine ? What is profitable ? Coinwarz and check
see the hash power of the machine and input there and ur monthly bills etc calculate and u will get results for softwares u got to know what is profitable and then start researching while u wait for ur miner to come.
For me i think Dash is profitable cuz im using giga-watt the post above and see what miner they provide n do the math with coinwarz

Ps. Darkweb shows u nice n cheap shit if u pay u dont get ur item poof use bitman for ant miners.

Welcome to the real world. First of all you should decide and choose one of them. GPU or CPU mining. CPU is more easy but Roi ( Return of investment) can be change according to models of your device. GPU is more hard but if you choose right hardwares and mine right coin Roi will be decrase.

I recommend you to start mining with 1 GPU. It will not bring you much income but you will be able to see what will have to investing all of their money. If you hear something you like, you can sell your GPU (now it is not a problem) and try yourself in another business. Asic is expensive equipment and it may be outdated. Without experience there is no sense to start with this.

i am not the best in this filed but there is few things you need to have to start mining ! you need to buy a good equipment  even if is little bit expensive . and you  need to check the price of electricity. and find out if this mining project gonna be profitable or not .

Ok, for a brand new person, try this route. Look for used units in your area, craigslist and even the classifieds. Start with just a few easy to use and maintain ASIC's, even in the 200 GH/s range. They are not going to pay much, but if you mess something up, there is less of a loss there.
