That's normal because all the volume goes back to bitcoin as people are preparing for bitcoin gol (BTG) airdrop. Just wait after the airdrop. People will dump bitcoin gold because bitcoin still what peoples want. Just hold your altcoins. Actually it's favourable to us because we can buy more cheaper altcoins in the market. But what i see in the market it's bearish for few months now. You have good coins in you bags. Don't dump them all. Bullish market will take place soon. You just need to be patient. When bitcoin is surging, the altcoins are dumping. That's how it works.

Hello!
After the last rise of BTC I lost 20% of my alts
Here are the coins I invested in:
NEO - bought at 0.0063
STRAT - bought at 0.00074
QTUM - bought at 0.012
XRP - bought at 0.000054
OMG - bought at 0.0017
WAVES - bought at 0.00088
I didn't see that market crash coming tho..
My question is do you think these coins might go up again after 25th Oct.?
Just hold it. We all know that the value of every coin in the digital currency is unpredictable. It moves up and down oftenly. And as a member of this society you should be aware on how you could handle your coins. So for me just hold your coin and the wait until the price of altcoin gain its value. |

Alt coin going down because people who hold altcoin move their money to bitcoin. But if total marketcap is increase i guess its not pretty bad blood. I am only affraid if bitcoin increase and the total marketcap did not increas. The bllod will be more harmfull if it is happen.

If the price gets huge then the prices of many Altcoins will have a negative price compared to how it is at the moment. The price kind of varies on how many people are willing to have the coin in their wallets. |

After 25 October I think altcoins will rise because after the 25th october everyone will sell bitcoin.
we just have to wait
The upcoming fork has almost everyone in this forum commenting about how the prices of altcoins will go up after Btc forking. How do they know that? |

All new money in cryptomarkt is flowing into Bitcoin. Also people trade their alts for BTC these days with upcomming Fork. After this event Alts will be superior and will go up like a rocket  |

They will go back up after BTG, people will take profits from BTC/BTG and move back in to alts.
I think this is hypothetically correct. Most of the people, wants to have the so-called bitcoin gold, that will be released later on. It is just like the time when bitcoin cash was released, you will be given the exact amount of btc you have on your account or wallet. So what people do is to buy bitcoin earlier as more as possible so that they can get a greater amount of bitcoin gold. This scheme will continue until the release of bitcoin gold. |
