First off if I posted this in the wrong second I would ask that a mod please moves it to the correct place.
I have been trading on Bittrex for just under a year and am even Enhanced Verification enabled (they have my passport, drivers license, selfie, etc). All of a sudden a few days ago I get the message when I log in that my account has been disabled with the following text:
Possible reasons your account may be disabled:
You requested that your account get disabled You attempted to verify your account with an identification document that has already been used We suspected your account was hacked and disabled it for you Your account was involved in irregular trading activity You violated the Bittrex terms of service
I have done none of these things and in looking at the IP login history there is nothing to make it look like it was hacked or accessed from any computer other than mine. I have never done anything "odd" or "irregular" in my trading, and I haven't violated their terms of service.
Has anyone had an experience with this? I have contacted support for days and no replies. I can't enable my account myself and the only link Bittrex provides is to contact support. Does anyone have an idea of how I can get my account enabled again? With all the current prices changing so rapidly it can be very expensive when they seemingly have no customer support to even help in this situation and days have passed with no reply from them.

I dont want to dishearten you but exchanges are the worst place to hold your money in. You are not the first person experiencing this problem. There have been hundreds or maybe even thousands of cases like this. They really have no customer support and zero regulation.

I have seen such thing happen to someone else, but not on Bittrex. I guess you should try contacting them through one of their hotlines, if they have one. I don’t how many days you have waited for their reply now, but try resending your email, asking them the particular reason they disabled your account.
Another way you can get them. is through their social media, like Facebook and Twitter (Twitter especially). By the time you say one or two things to them on Twitter, I believe they would find way to settle your problem to avoid bad name.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. Account disabled after logging in, no email, no message why the account ist disabled. I was using bittrex for almost one year, basic verification status, never had any problems.
Strange coincidence: Some days ago I started receiving ICO phishing mails on my mail address which I only use for bittrex and a few other, non-coin related websites. Where did the spammers get my mail address from and how do they know Im into bitcoin stuff?
I think they got hacked and disabled the accounts whose data got stolen.

Yesterday as I logged into my Bittrex account, I got this message, Unverified accounts cannot withdraw from Bittrex. Please see this link for more information. So must be a verification/re-verification and documentation exercise is on going at Bittrex. I think you may have to send them another selfie, this link might help https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/231701788These are some of the price the regulation of Bitcoin forces down our throat and I think it is a fall out from Btc-e. Decentralized exchanges is the way forward.

Most of the disabled/downgraded accounts has been verified extensively before the scam. Once an account holder with verified status deposits to her/his account, s/he expects to have rights to withdraw up to the amount specified for that status, so it is definitely a scam and a fraud to block her/his deposit, saying 'Hey, unfortunately we have downgraded your status and have to hold your funds in our pockets for an arbitrary period of time!". As of ToS argument: I seriously believe Bittrex should never ever play that card, I have not and will not read their ToS, although I have checkmarked it during the signup and I'm a victim of their scam as well, you know why? Because if they have planted any evil backdoor there to grant themselves such a power, it makes the case worse for them: The court will consider it an organized, intentional, planned scam instead of a simple tilt due to greed & temptation.

Sometimes I wonder if accounts really are reviewed as extensively as you say though. I mean when someone has thousands of dollars in their account, you would think taking up to an hour to review is realistic considering how much is on the line. I have had my fair experience with losing money to scams and exchanges are not excluded (lost a lot to Cryptsy and others as well).

still no news they blocked our funds illegali, thats true scaming
according to what I read, it seems that they are doing this with people from specific countries and random people from these specific countries... I think they should be investigating something, last month a certain scammers stole many ETH and sold in the localbitcoin accordingly the ETH were bought by people who trade in bittrex and bittrex froze the account of that person, I suppose now the case should be something related to the government and bittrex and and people from these countries

They finally enabled my account again - guess what - Bitcoin is down nearly 20% from when I planned on selling it.
At this point I have to say .... SCAM
Take a look at their terms of service and they are NOT allowed to have done this in the manner they did. I have started the arbitration process under section 20 of their terms of service and will see what happens. It isn't about the money with me, but about the principal, and I hope others stand up and are willing to spend a little actually making them go to arbitration for the losses suffered.

Losses suffered is zero if you still have your coins. "The one that got away" is not considered a loss except in fantasy. You will see written on these forums thousands of times "Don't keep your money on exchanges" every wondered why? If you keep money on exchanges, be prepared to loose it. see Mt Gox, Crypstsy, Mintpal, coinex.pw, mcxNow....
