The only option for mining at low capacities is to monitor all new coins and try to start the mine one of the first. When the community assess (or not) the project and attract more people to the mining, the complexity will increase and your capacity will not be enough, but you will have the first profit.

BIG WINNER!

Monero mining on your CPU not bad idea, but not with a minergate client of course. Unfortunately, it's  very slow anyway. What do you think about  yenten (YTN) mining ? It made for CPU mining only!  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/yenten/

I think, the easiest way - using nicehash. I have got 1060 3 gb / i5-6400, it produces 2-2.5 usd/day. Also, i'm not mine 24/7, i use computer for other tasks. That's my small experiment in mining, maybe i'll construct a rig in the future.

It seemed to me on my computer does not make sense to mine, especially 3 hours a day. Does this make any sense? or is it all about special coins? Please tell me who knows this

Hello guys,

What would be the best coin to mine with your personal PC? I mean, I want to keep my PC to mine a few hours every day and get some coins with potential and a solid project, but a low difficulty level in mining. Any ideas?

what do you have a graphics card  ?

Honestly, I'd check out whattomine.com and then from there do research on which ones offer the best CPU mining algorithms unless you have a nice GPU also, which that website is good for too.

It's not easy, but look up the hashrate for your CPU and GPU. Best of luck!

Crypto trading is risky, masternode mining is awesome, find a solid coin and HOLD!!!

I would definitely consider this coin, it has a niche market and had an amazing start!

Check out this new coin, already on exchange!  ROI looks very good!  Medical & Commercial Cryptocurrency with Masternode and Privacy!

Probably just Nicehash so you don't have to worry about switching to the most profitable coin, then just buy whatever coins you want with BTC.

ETN, BCN, XMR but depend on your PC spec. Especially, XMR has diff too high for PC with a standard spec. Personally, I don't suggest PC without GPUs to mining. But you can try those coins if indeed curious.

For me right now I would say Monero is the best coin for mine on PC. After hard fork before few days Monero became more profitable then ETH. I don't know how long it will be like that , because most of people who mine ETH will probably start mine Monero and difficulty will increase soon.

Bitcoin prices are now very high and make bitcoin more tempting to be mined. Mining bitcoin with its own devices can be done with miner / miner equipment that has been finished and the device itself (PC). Bitcoin mining processes are done by: Having wallet / wallet to accommodate bitcoin minerals, listing in pool / mine site one of them in slushpool. Download the bitcoin mine software.

You can mine participate at a distribution Method with Proof of Distributed Computing to get Byteball Bytes.
It works with World Community Grid/BOINC and you give your idle computer time to fight against Aids, Cancer, Zika, Ebola and other Diseases.
For your WCG Points you become daily Bytes and WCG Token in your Byteball Wallet.

A Tutorial to set up Byteball and World Community Grid, and how to participate on Byteball's airdropping campaign is written from tyz.

Please don't forget to join the byteball.org BOINC Team (BOINC Team Id: 35043) or you can use my referral link (it brings me nothing except virtual batches when I've referred a certain amount of people) to sign up on WorldCommunityGrid and join the Team directly.
