Sold my Bitcoin today

I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??

That's a smart move. I don't know how much you bought for. I guess you should've made at least $1500 profit. Correct me if am wrong. Buy back when it drops is good but can't predict them a better time. Are they gonna drop? . I think its possible if any country bans in their country

Always stick to your trading rules.Weekends are not good days  for uptrend continuity. It was smart decision to sell before weekend and waiting for low price level to reenter your old position. In long term trading there are not such fear like expecting ban by any government.

Your decision is safe . Because they have possible the price of bitcoin decrease because many investor will panic selling and if that happen for sure it will crash. So the fork is near we can make a decision now if they hold our bitcoin or sell it. But even they have many people sell their bitcoin they have also buy bitcoin because they believe after fork the price will increase more than the current highest price.

You'd be surprise the rate at which events would turn out to be. Things are getting more intense, support is growing hugely and for us to have such huge downward trend may start becoming impossible.
The prices reducing before or after the fork is just speculation and the best way is just to HODL and watch the situation of things. So many people made this same mistake during the last fork and ended up regretting it.

Too soon for that in my opinion also. Bitcoin is just getting started and holding on it for a few more weeks would have bring extra 1k or 2k dollars. What can we say, it is human nature. People get excited when they see unexpected pleasing results and it is not shocking for me to see bitcoin holders selling out their coin this soon. I hope they could have earned more from their asset.

That was a big gamble.

If you would review the graph the price keeps on going up and when there a dive back in September this was when the JP Morgan and China issues happened but after that the price soared high and will definitely go higher in the next days. Most people are hoarding the coin for the upcoming fork and another fork might happen by November so expect them to hold it until then.

I would suggest if the price difference from today and the price when you sold it is not that high better buy a coin again and expect a price of $6000-$7000 by December.

Each and every move of bitcoin value forward is simply unpredictable. If it's with some other trading or forex, can predict to some extent or can believe that the history repeats. But with bitcoin scenario is different, we can just speculate and hope for the best to take place.

Yes selling at this juncture just because price is high is not making sense considering the hard fork is coming in few days from now. And thus we should see some good gains and might cross 6k near fork event just like last time we had one way upside movement.

I think op regret that he already sell his coin, bitcoin value is continue climbing and nearing to reach $6000 and before the actual hard fork i think this event will helps bitcoin value make much stronger and continue to increase and gives us more income.

in my opinion, there is no regret in selling your bitcoin as long as you have profit. what matters most in the end is not the opinion of others, but your own goal and your enjoyment in doing what you do. we all differ when it comes to goal setting and risk tolerance. each and every one of us have their own strategy. buying when bitcoin's price is low and selling when it is high to gain profit.

If the market is due for an even higher increase, it will do so regardless of an insignificant fork such as Bitcoin Gold. If you bring up the goose with the golden egg, then it doesn't make sense to sell any of your coins in the coming years. In other words, why sell at $5500 this month, when you can sell your coins at $20,000 after 2 or 3 years?

It seems to me that this is a bold enough forecast as to how much Bitcoin can cost after 2 or 3 years. That is correct, no doubt that bitcoin has a very strong support and more expected are that bitcoin price will increase more and more but i think that everyone has their own choice, of a person feel the need to sell their bitcoin he has the right and no one can stop him. i think he take  right decision and is really a smart move. Whenever i feel the need to sell my bitcoin i will never wait for a single second and will do the job.
