Alcheminer 256

I wanted to set an Alcheminer 256 to a fixed ip address, so I edited the /etc/network/interfaces file. On re-boot, the LCD just shows IP 0.0.0.0 and I can no longer ssh into it.   Sad

The controller board seems to be unique ( I mean, it's not a Raspberry Pi, it's not a beaglebone, etc.)  Does anybody know a way to get a console into it ?  There seem to be 2 sets of pins which might be for this purpose, JP1  and JP2

Any help or input appreciated !

Yeah, I know that _if I can get back in_ I can revert the changes to the /etc/network/interfaces file, but that's the problem: I can't get back in Sad
The control board on the Alchemist Alcheminer 256 seems to be a proprietary board, which does not have USB, and since the ip address is not getting assigned (shows up in the LCD window as 0.0.0.0 ) I can't get it.  The googling I have done seems to indicate that one of the two pin headers on the board are for a console TTY, but without knowing for sure and pin-out information.... I really don't know what I'm doing. I would hate to actually damage the board.

Thanks for replying !
