No offense to those so called experts but even an elementary school kid can see that bitcoin is headed towards that direction, bitcoin is above 5800, it only needs one little push from the bulls and we are going to reach that amount, and second there does not seem to be a mention of bitcoin gold in the article which in my opinion is the most likely reason for the spike in the price.

it is good and all to see the rise like this and so far it seems like a strong rise, we even had a nice little correction already. and price is still rising. but also it looks a bit scary. bitcoin has gone up a lot in the past couple of months. i could see the price stabilize around $4500 if this rise never came and it would have been a solid place to stay.
some say it is because of BTG airdrop, if so we are in for some dip. $6000+ may not stay with us since there is only 10 days left to the fork.

I don't think so.

I think we should stop putting so much value in "industry experts" - those that support or deny bitcoin. Their opinion matters only as much as their effort to get someone to click their article, buy their report, etc. Forget about these experts and just let Bitcoin carry on as it will!

Even the blind can see and the deaf can hear the sound that bitcoin is increased without any strong restriction and I don't think we need China adoption any longer for their acclaimed influence is over. The general acceptance of bitcoin and crypto currency world over is unprecedented and bitcoin market value cannot be manipulated or influenced by any single individual or institution. Nothing seems to stop bitcoin both now and forever.

Agreed. That's really funny, the way that sentence about the experts was phrased. It's like seeing a car going at 99 miles an hour and saying it'll hit 100 mph. Sure, it's extrapolation and the slightest, but it is definitely not hard to come to that conclusion. It's more likely for Bitcoin to go up 200-300$ than fall by a 1000.

Not only the bitcoin industry experts who believe, I myself feel it. I once told a friend with full confidence that everything could happen, because right now, I believe that bitcoin does not just reach $ 6000 alone, even in early 2018, I feel that bitcoin could be over $ 6000.
There is nothing wrong if we have our own views for the future so that we ourselves will continue to have the motivation to get bitcoin.

The reasons they are giving in that article are strong reasons to make us believe it will go much higher than that. I don’t know why the journalist has focused so much in that mark as newspapers usually like catchy heading to draw audience’s attention. I think the heading could have easily been: Industry Experts Believe Bitcoin Headed much beyond $6,000.

I disagree that Bitcoin Gold is the main reason for this rally. The new high is just the continuation of Bitcoin's bullish pattern that started on 2015. Hard forks and splitting from the main chain should be breaking that pattern not making them. But no ban, FUD or fork can stop Bitcoin.

I agree that it isn't that difficult to see that Bitcoin is aiming for 6k+. This was the overall opinion by lots of traders and investors since a few weeks now.
These so called "experts" are not that much smarter or experienced as the daily trader or investor in the Bitcoin space and crypto in general.
Where I disagree a bit is that Bitcoin Gold is having that much of influence for this price rise. It's a factor, that's for sure, but not as big as some might think.

There really isn't anyone who can stop bitcoin growth but im sure that soon bitcoin winter will come. It will inevitably come since not all time bitcoin would have an upward trend. Still, I don't deny the possibility of bitcoin heading to 6000$ before that expected winter comes. Since the one who said it are experts, I believe that the chance of it reaching the said price is high.

Assuming we can get to the $6000 mark value if we can? because there are resistance that are involve but certain expert think that we can sure reach the elusive $6000 mark value, because the industry is in an uproar right now for bitcoin and many bitcoin enthusiast are holding more into bitcoin right now because of the free coins they can get I really this many are thinking like this, and because bitcoin fluctuates so much it can surely soar in that elusive price cap that is $6000 mark value.

Anyone could be an expert too if they know so much about of the flow in the market, speculations, charts, forks, etc. These certain skills can affect everything to investors and traders. And i guess they were right that bitcoin will be heading to $6,000 but the question is when? There's still an upcoming fork that we all need to face because it could possibly dip the bitcoin price.

We've already hit the $5,850 mark. Another 3% rise will take us to 6K and it is not a major milestone anymore. The next major resistance level is going to be at 10K. Till then, it will be smooth sailing for Bitcoin, unless some extreme FUD (similar to China) occurs. And IMO, the 10K mark may be achieved once the 2MB block size limit is implemented.

Its ironic that bitcoin which was criticised by Jamie back then and Jp Morgan was quiet and relaxed by this and was like let it be, in a way showing support for his comments, and now they faced back lash, are loosing their shit, now they all the so called industry is coming to back Bitcoins because it's rising, it's super funny, at a time of increase these people are giving us just a number that we all knew it would achieve this year. This industry people are hypocrites, but since it's getting good publicity for Bitcoins it's good.
