The hard fork for Ether, Byzantium – the first leg in the update – will occur at block 4,370,000, or roughly Oct. 16, which is tomorrow. How do you think it will affect ETH prices?
It seems that they already have a bug, patched it but I don't know.
So, how do you think ETH will be price wise tomorrow?

i believe there are currently bigger things at play regarding ETH price that this fork doesn't come in. i have not seen much hype regarding this fork so it is hard to expect a rise because of it.

additionally there is always some kind of fear when it comes to forks. specially forks like this which are rushed and buggy. people may even panic sell because they never want to lose anything and the safest bet is to stay away than risk it.

this topic belongs to altcoin speculation by the way not trading discussion.

I must admit that I am just reading about ETH fork now but I think a lot of people who are believers are really going to be interested in it to give ETH a nice pump since ICOs is becoming more and more difficult to make and this has been a major push for the price of ETH. But generally I see a slight push in the price of ETH only if the fork is not available to be converted to BTC directly but if that is made available, then the entire benefit of this goes to BTC with ETH getting only a fraction of the airdrop.

I bought some ETH before the fork in hopes that afterwards there would be an uptick in investor confidence thus a small price increase. That and I could not bring myself to buy bitcoin this close to the all time high. Time will tell if this was a good idea I guess.

Whenever I buy ETH I regret it. It seems that some paritytech is basically saying they cannot release software that includes the protocol changes needed for the shift. They say it should be delayed etc. etc.
Lets see how its gonna affect the public.

At this point the etherum had a little down but still gives hope for investment and a big profit at least according to me. Regards.

For me personally, the downstairs etherum is caused by the normal behavior of the coin and I still believe that tomorrow or soon we will see its value at a high level.

After the BTC fork the money will start pouring into ETH, so make sure you stack up before that happens  Wink

Today Ethereum is down level in market. But tomorrow and future it will create a great change in the market. Already traders are like to invest in Ethereum. Because bitcoin is the platform of Ethereum. It almost create a self growth in the market.any other altcoins are not reach in the Ethereum.

Price of ethereum quite low, but good support level there awaiting a shoot up for sure. If majority supports segwit 2x over main BTC we will see a huge run for ETH. Eth hardfork will boost the price.

The Byzantinium forck happened (excuse my language) but it is still going down. It seems that when other coins are going up, ETH is going down. When they are going down, this thing is going double down, lol. Come one Buterin!

It is always good for you if you manage to hold the ETH for some time because the price of ETH will increase along with the Bitcoin. So it is always good to buy ETH whenever you have some spare money with you.

ETH prices are showing signs of improvement in recent hours. I think people should buy ETH now because I'm sure in the next few days ETH will go to the moon and will definitely hit the highest price this year.

Has the process speeded up? Normally it should be twice as fast in theory.
