How to
To make it point to your desire.conf, you have three options:
C) By creating a shortcut
1) Right click the sentinel-win64.exe, "Create Shortcut".
2) Right click the shortcut, Properties
3) Edit Target and, at the end, add a SPACE and then "--config=C:\path\to\desire.conf" INCLUDING the quotes "

I have one running without issues now, I mainly wasted 2 hours because I started with Ubuntu 16.04.

yes prices almost raised where it should be

on Masternodes I have one  with watch dog expired status paying as i should

and one with Sentinel Paying as it Should

So whats the fuss wabout the watch dog?

most likely, you need to reload blockchain.

Strange that the one with WATCHDOG_EXPIRED is working.
Do you have them both running on one VPS? Do you have two public IPv4 IPs?

It would be great if the Desire sentinel had a -daemon option as well

In your config:
- I don't see staking=0
- I don't have maxconnections
- do you have the port number on externalip?

The ./desire-cli mnsync status command sometimes gives some useful info as well. Mine is:

Looks so undervalued. When i look other mn coins like Vivo and İnnova , their price so utopic, and stable. They have a different strategy and it works for now. When i look this coin %20 rewards to masternodes look more realistic in long run. Price should raise gradually after a while. Atm this price really ridicilous. I will invest more. More masternodes more coins, more and more mns . Then raise and bingo

My mnsync looks the same. I changed the bits in the conf file but I still got the same error.
I installed the new version (0.12.2.1) over an older one that I had, could this be a problem?
If nothing else works I'll reinstall the VPS and set it up freshly to see whether this solves it

Have you tried:
- stopping your daemon
- deleting mncache.dat and mnpayments.dat from your .desirecore folder
- starting your daemon with the -reindex argument

If that doesn't work your other files are probably a bit messed up and you might have to reinstall.

I have followed most of this guide. I didn't compile Desire though, but just used the release on Github (saves a lot of time):
