so i am confused by some things and i know the best way to know the answers to these questions are by investing but at this moment i cant.

so the questions are as followed

1: if you buy altcoins from for example bittrex does that affect the market? like does the price go up from that altc? (just to be sure)

2: is bittrex instant or more like a marketplace, because you can see bids and asks from other people. so do the investors sell it to each other?

1. Yes. By buying a certain coin, you make more demand for it, thus the orderbook shrinks, thus the price will ultimately go up.

2. Depending on what you are selling / buying for. If you buy the current lowest price on the orderbook, it is indeed going to be instant, there is no verification or something like that if you place a buy / sell order.

1. In theory, if you buy a certain altcoin it should affect the demand. So in paper it should contribute to the price increase of that certain altcoin.
2. Not like sites like Coinmama or other sites that makes you usually buy at a huge markup, Bittrex is an exchange. You buy and sell from other buyers and sellers as well, but it doesn't mean it cant be instant. You can use market trade option to buy instantly.

so if you would invest a huge amount in altcoins would it depend on how many people would buy from you?

like for example if you want to cash out does that happen instantly

If you're talking about the price, then you might mean it would depend on how many people would sell certain altcoins to you.

If you're talking about cashing out to FIAT money, then you cant do that on bittrex. Best thing you can do is to trade your coins for btc, then sell the btc on some other exchange like https://kraken.com or sell it on https://localbitcoins.com
