Guys
I have an urgent issue where my Bittrex order history shows a large transaction (sale of BTC) but the USDT is missing from my balance.
I have raised a ticket 4 days ago but get the feeling I could be waiting a long time. I recently ditched an account with Coinbase as the support was so bad - is there anything I can do to expedite this, or any suggestion on how to get the funds dug out, as I said its a very significant chunk of cash.

Appreciate any advice Angry Angry

The problem with all of these support system is that it takes a really long time to get a response ,may be because they could not handle because there is a long list of question and troubles they have to answer, for each and every site dealing with crypto currency, the support system sucks, only a few gambling sites have live support, the rest would take atleast a week to hear from them.

You did not provide many details here. How are we supposed to help when your explanation is not very clear? Anyone can claim that this happened to them, but where is the proof? Do you have screenshots? I am not saying that you are lying. I actually believe you. But no company is going to just hand over money to you without concrete proof that this was an error on their part. I am sure if you send them very detailed screenshots and emails, time-stamps, and explain yourself thoroughly that you will have a better chance.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

As far as I've read, the fastest way to get in touch with them is via their Slack channel. Support can be indeed quite unresponsive, however last I've heard they were hiring folks throughout America so you may want to wait until their working hours today over there, and then maybe resubmit or enter their Slack...

You can also post in their thread here, they sometimes read it.

They seem to be overloaded.

However I have been reading more and more negative comments about then lately. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to keep using them.

Yeah they are really overloaded with the recent wave of questions and requests from the people who are new to cryptocurrencies. The best move is to be patient and update your ticket every 48 hours. It will be resolved. Bittrex has never left a customer unsatisfied or a concern unresolved. But it will take time.

Thats odd. Maybe they are trying to investigate some of the transactions that took place going in the exchange. This could be connected to some money launderers that maybe has started using Bittrex after the closure of BTCe.

Its a wild guess but I dont see Bittrex locking that many accounts for no good reason.

Do they now require verification for any withdrawal?

I don't see why they don't require verification before allowing deposits then.

Yes you have to be verified before making withdrawal these days. Read more here https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/231701788-Withdraw-Limits-and-Troubleshooting

I don't see why they don't require verification before allowing deposits then.

They just changed their terms in August, and apparently they are changing them again. It's not clear what the new policies are because Bittrex is totally silent -- no announcements, no response when asked for comment from Cointelegraph, total silence regarding the thousands of support tickets from disabled account holders. I saw one user report that Bittrex emailed him back saying that any account with more than $1,000 in value must be verified with government ID and selfie. In that case, "Basic Verification" is useless now. If you have a small fraction of a BTC, they require ID anyway.

If they are moving to mandatory verification, they should have provided prior notice to users. Their silence throughout all this makes me very concerned that this is a law enforcement issue and that something more nefarious is happening.
