I just got a message in my inbox, that was supposedly meant for a user called "litecoinstake", from "ssetian007".
What happened here? Why did that message end up in my inbox?

I think it is the sender's error. I guess that he had talked with the "supposedly  receiver of the pm" in a thread and you also replied there and the sender being careless clicked a wrong profile (which is yours) and sent a message without looking who will be the recipient. Again, it's just a wild hunch.

P.S. I doubt that it is the forum system's fault.

The thing is that the PM says "To: litecoinstake" on the information, not in the body of the PM. So somewhere the software has done wrong, either in displaying the correct receiver, or in delivering the message.

Can you post a screenshot because I'm confused as to what the error is? Are you sure the PM wasn't just sent to both of you or it isn't just an error on the sender's part? He could just have copied and pasted it from another message but without a screenshot people likely can't advise further.

Yup! I agree a screen shot would be necessarily for further inspection if it is a system error or a human error, which I think most Personal message error involve with a typo of a person well because I just did that once, and believe I was shock that a different person PM me of what am I trying to say to my realization that I have the wrong person put to the Receiver of the message!
