That happened to me at first. But I've since put in 2 separate orders for 1 coin each - and they were fulfilled.

I think they are all showing up for me now. 1 executed, but not in the order I placed it so I am thinking they have something wonky going on there. Anyone else buy or sell anything?

Sell - 50 Buy.0000001
At the same time, I realize that you could buy Bitcoins for 13.8$ on Bitcoin7 (disclaimer: the link contains my referral code). There is an easy arbitrage here for anybody able to send some dollars on Bitcoin7 (unfortunatly not me). Price is stable at 15.3$ on TH. Looks like the market doesn't care that much about what is happening on MtGox.

I just pulled my coins out of Mt. Gox just when I got them in. I don't trust that site anymore, nothing seems to work properly.

Any other competent technical folks want to get together and discuss putting an exchange together? Not too impressed with the options we have right now.
Serious? Yes.

Looks like they ran a few trades through, then shut down again. Trade data has been "Last Price: 15.1, High: 17.51001, Low: 15, Volume: 78.93992973" for several minutes now, after a few minutes during which volume increased. They seem to have given one update to "bitcoincharts", which turned their block from black to white, but no more data followed.

If many people do the same, that might push the price up instead of the expected crash.

Mine do appear now. Canceling works as expected. Yay! No real time data on Clark Moody's yet.

Lowest Ask Price 50
Highest Bid Price 0.0001
It actually showed lowest ask 15, highest bid 17.51 at some stage. Weird. Now it's starting to look normal. 16.99/15.02 Takes minutes to get to the trade page. Looks like their database is crushing under the # of users.

I have been thinking about it. But there's more to a successful company than just setting up a couple of web services. We most certainly agree. But BitCoin needs a truly professional exchange. We do not have that now and I do not see one coming down the pike. There are a lot of posers out there whose product falls far far short of the talk and promise. It's not a question of whether a far better product can be produced, it's a matter of who is going to do it.

Sell - 50 Buy.0000001
Price is stable at 15.3$ on TH. Looks like the market doesn't care that much about what is happening on MtGox. Yeah, and another 1000 BTC sale on that site will bring the price down another 2 dollars like it did yesterday. A 1000 BTC wall is nothing on MTGox. Or at least it wasn't until it shut down a week ago. On tradehill it'd plummet prices again. There isn't enough volume on TH to compare it to Gox.

Only a couple hundred coins changed hands in the last ~2 hours there. It's not stable, it's inactive.
