the advantage of the Gameflip

I am a japanese who likes playing games mainly offline game like Zelda sometimes like Darksouls.
I don't know PC game and it's market well.
I have read the Gameflip whitepaper, and I have a question.
so, I try to post my first topic.

My question is, what is the advantage of the Gameflip coin over the STEAM?

The whitepaper says the current transaction fee on steam marketplace is too expensive.
And steam point can't exchange to fiat money.
Market is not open and doesn't have liquidity, but Gameflip coin has their solution.

If Steam set the transaction fee lower, the problems will be solved at all?
then, Gameflip lost it's advantage?
Or they has more?
