Hello all. I have registered for the Gladius ICO public sale starting the 1st of November.

It looks like something really amazing. I am concerned however as it looks like the ICO which has been planned for 4 weeks will be over in a few days because they would have reached their hardcap that quickly.

Is this just hype? Or have there been ICO's where this has happened before? I am not aware of any.

I really dont think its hype. Have you seen how much media attention they are getting?

The strange thing about this attention is that they are not even trying to get it themselves.

DDos is a huge problem on the Internet as I am sure everyone must now know. This project has a real solution for this.

Register as fast as you can. My gut feel tells me that they may even close the registrations before the 1st of November.

It is really good for you, because most projects can't collect enough amount of money, they cancel the project and refund the all ether they received back to investors. You are very lucky

Yes this can happen on some ICOs. I have seen Monetha sold out in a few minutes and with ICON ICO. Now the latest request. network also sold out before their end time.
Gladius has a lot of media coverage. I came to know about this project here in investopedia, they have mentioned gladius in top 6 unique ICOs.
Have a read here: http://www.investopedia.com/news/ico-initial-coin-offering/

Many thanks guys. Very much apreciated.

I will definately be investing into this ICO. The thing that has me completely "sold" is that the dev team will have their coins vested for 18 months. I think with so many ICO's the teams get tired and de-motivated simply because they get paid too soon.

I don’t think it is hype. ICO projects can sold out as soon as it reach its hard cap.

In the first half of the 2017, I have seen a few projects sold out within first few hours or first few days. I remember SONM sold out within first few days and Populous sold out in pre-ico. Recently 0x was fully reserved before ICO.

You are lucky to reserve a slot in Gladius.

Imo it is not hype but private deals can attract other small investors. At the end all investors will do their best if they have inside info Wink

in my opinion, most ico will end immediately reaching the hardcap, the exceeding money will refund even if the ico not end in time, if not, hard cap will make no sense

Yes - they are going to end the sale once the hardcap has been reached. They are already talking about this happening. I guess this is what happens when the 'product", such as Gladius is offering, is so good.

I see another press review has been published.

Probably will end early which is a good sign for investors but that's not always the case.

It happened to our project as well. We reached our hardcap in 4min 42seconds even though the crowdsale was planned to last for an entire month. Reading through Gladius whitepaper, the idea is solid and you shouldn't be suprised if the crowdsale ends in minutes.

This is fantastic information. Thankyou very much.

So an ICO has sold out before it even launched in the past! That is amazing.

Hi guys. This is a truly facinating ICO.

Once the code is complete it is also going to become Open Source.

The dev team are also working around the clock to answer tech questions on telegram.

This is their telegram link - http://t.me/gladiusio

There had been a lot ICOs that end up quickly like MATCHPOOL and Monetha. Its usually the development of the project that matters, look what they are now,  their concept may be unique but the delivery of the product will take time which means impatient investors will dump it giving you time to buy cheaper tokens.

Hi carbon - I really do apreciate your feedback.

Yes I also agree. One tends to get emotionally attached to an ICO. Humans!!

I am comfortable with their roadmap. Realise that this is long-term.

Thanks agin.

Why are you adding a page to the ART Token page. Surely this type of spamming does not do that ICO any good?

I see this happened twice. A user posting - "go to this page for the ICO" - it then goes to some other ICO they are trying to post - beware. Not cool this type of spamming.

I would not normally add a link to the ICO page. But this has now happened twice on this post.

The Bitcointalk page to this Gladius ICO is as follows if you are at all interested.
