Try Bittrex and Poloniex - currently Im using both of these trading platforms and never experienced any problem whether minor or major. Your'e the one to find out who's the best at these two. If you regularly lurking in the forum, you will see some bad feedback about Poloniex customer support. Not a biased here but I think SOME OF THEM really violate some of the terms.

If you wish to sell bitcoin alone you can check into localbitcoins site to sell it out because as I know everyone I have met there would trusted and will be get the payment via banking with in few minutes. You fund will be also safe since there is an automated escrow working for you while you open the trade.
There is deposit fees here in this site to send your coins to LBC wallet first. This is annoying in early but now it does not matter for the sellers in LBC.

I will suggest you use the bitrex and Polenix since you can able to sell or buy any altcoins and bitcoin as well.  Keep in mind if you are wishing to exchange for Fiat or other payment options you have to use the trusted escrow in that to keep safe amount and it is good for opposite party too. Yobit is also you can try once.

Let’s see here, some of my personal favorites are:
Poloniex https://www.poloniex.com/. It is one of the biggest and most trusted exchanges, and although they only allow you to trade some of the biggest altcoins they are defiantly worth checking out.

BitTrex https://bittrex.com/. It is personally my favorite as they offer a larger selection while still being reputable, and they have the NY bit-license so you can trade from NY.

Yobit https://www.yobit.net/. It is a bit smaller, but it offers a much larger selection of altcoins and they don’t require you to identify yourself.

Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/. Although it is small, allows you to trade just about any altcoin (even the useless and near dead ones), and like Yobit allow you to register without identification.

GDAX, Bittrex and Poloniex are good ones, however they only have limited cryptocurrencies.

The best trading exchange site is will be that According to your device that you have .
If you have pc then you can use any exchange for example poloniex , bitfinex , bitrex , yobit , livecoin , cryptopia.co.nz , c-cex.io 
These are those exchange where you will get most of the popular coins easily ( you should take care about the bitrex for trading ) .
If you want handle your trading work at your mobile then I would like to recommend you for the bitrex and yobit only because these are those site exchange which are easily accessible at the mobile ( use Chrome beta ) .
Here the most faster exchange ( due to bulk trader and many traders ) is poloniex , so if you will trade then you will be able to do easily complete your trade According to average market price.

There are only few exchanges that are on my choice, go for bittrex I've been using this for several times and this is one of the most popular exchange. There is also poloniex and shapeshift.io and don't ever use yobit there's a lot of coins there but if you don't want to find any trouble with your trading experience I would advice that you should stay away from it. You can also use changelly actually there's a lot of good exchange out there.

To trade USD - > BTC, LTC, ETH, XRP, XMR : Kraken, Bitstamp
To trade BTC - > Alts : Bittrex (no problems so far)

Bitfinex was ok but information about Tether scam appeared and it can hurt this exchange in the nearest future
Poloniex - a lot of problems with assets withdrawals.. avoid like a plague

In my opinion Bittrex is good one, because about 200 altcoin and token available here to trade with big volume. Then this exchange also has full regulation based USA so our fund is safe here. In this exchange also availbale crypto paired with USDT, this pair i think will be more easy to trade for beginner. And most important there is never a problem with withdrawal.

If you do not feel safe, you simply stop trading there. there are new bittrex competitors. Binance is interesting enough to try.
and I still believe bittrex is the best.

Good trading site is a place that do not require a complex requirement to verify your account and have a less issue,
so i recommend you to use Bittrex for Big Volume and Coinexchange for Low Volume.
When you trade your coin on Bittrex,make sure to verify your name and phone number so you have 3BTC withdrawal limit,
why i recommend it ?
because there're only a few problem that ever happened in there,and most of them were because of enchanted account.
other than that,it's very easy and smooth to do the trade in there.
Coinexchange is much better in my opinion,because it's very fast.
but they list a lot of shitty coin in there and newly born altcoins.

in my point of view bittrex is the one good site for using trading so you have to invest in this your money. most of the people every day taking account in this wallet. every day millions of money keeping in this site for trading. it is more secure and fastest trading site. if you feel it is unsecured just stop trading in this site. not only bittrerx site some other trading sites are available in market so you can choose one best option and start trading.

There are many exchangers in this industry, now it depend on you in which of them you to trade in, So those Platform that I can recommend to you are Poloniex, Bittrex, Livecoin, Hitbtc, Yobit.net, Liqui, but most often I used was Bittrex every time I do some trade in the exchange site.
