Madbyte Update - December 1, 2022

Another year is almost over. It was early 2017 when we started on this altcoin journey to replicate Litecoin’s code with a few minor changes to create the Madbyte crypto coin. That’s almost 6 years of Madbyte playing in the crypto space. Even with the ups and downs in the space, we continue to be committed to the project.

Bitcoin dipped below $15,500 in November from the highs of $69,000 seen in November 2021. Some over-leveraged projects, backed by venture capitalists, have seen their crypto assets completely collapse in this downturn.

The MADX token value has also dipped, especially in this past month. You can find MADX on Pancakeswap, Spookyswap and Madtrade. The dip gave a good opportunity to grab cheap tokens. Same as with other tokens and BTC, the time might be good to start looking for those opportunities.

Nathan Rothschild, said that "the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets." So is there enough blood in the streets yet?

Madbyte Update - January 1, 2023

As we start the new year, we reflect on the events of 2022 and look forward to what 2023 has in store. It's been a tumultuous year in the crypto market with many changes and challenges, but we hope that this year will bring more stability and success.

In 2022, we set several goals for the MADX token, including the launch of a game that utilizes the token, the release of the token on additional blockchains, and its availability on swap exchanges.

We're pleased to report that we made significant progress towards these goals. In February, we released Madxfield.com as a beta test for using the token in a game. In March, the Madbyte token was launched on the Fantom and Spookyswap blockchains. And in September, we expanded the token's availability with launches on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Pancakeswap.

As we enter 2023, we have new goals and aspirations for Madbyte and the MADX token. We hope to continue building and improving upon our progress from the previous year.

Madbyte Update - February 1, 2023

Madbyte is excited to announce its focus for this year, centered around browser games and the revamping of Madx token staking. Madxfield is a browser game that provides users with an opportunity to collect tokens, engage in battles with other players, and earn rewards. The game is set to receive upgrades this year, with an aim to enhance its playability and make it even more fun and entertaining.

MadCapX is another platform that Madbyte is dedicated to improving some of its core features. The website currently allows users to stake their tokens and earn rewards once a month. However, the team has recognized that there is room for improvement and will be conducting research on a new staking feature that enables users to hold their own tokens and receive a yield at the same time. This will provide Madbyte users with a more flexible and profitable staking experience.

Madbyte Update - March 1, 2023

Madbyte is keeping a close eye on the rapidly evolving crypto space and the various developments that are taking place. We are particularly interested in learning from and potentially attaching ourselves to some of these developments.

A couple of areas that have caught our attention are the current developments in Ordinals on Bitcoin and Unity adding Web3.

We have noticed that NFT creators from Ethereum are starting to release on the Bitcoin blockchain using the ordinals protocol. Although this isn't directly relevant to Madbyte, we will be keeping a watchful eye on this area to see if there are any opportunities for us.

However, we are particularly excited about the Unity game engine adding a "decentralization" category to its online storefront. This means that Unity developers will now be able to connect their games built with Unity to wallets such as Metamask, which is a huge advantage for crypto game developers. We can't wait to see how this develops in the future.

Madbyte Update - June 2023

Before its token swap in 2019, Madbyte coin was a cryptocurrency that used the same protocol as Litecoin.

Litecoin (LTC) is similar to Bitcoin but with faster transactions and lower fees. It also has a halving event every four years, which cuts the amount of new coins created by 50%. The next halving date is expected to happen on August 6, 2023, when the block reward will drop from 12.5 to 6.25 LTC. We’re excited to announce that our Madbyte token MADX is now available on the Polygon Network (also known as Matic). Polygon is a popular blockchain for a vast amount of tokens due to its cheap and fast transactions, making it a great fit for our token too.

The first Polygon liquidity pool for MADX is on Sushi Swap with only a small amount of MADX paired with USDT. Some of the Madbyte team members will add more liquidity to this pool in the coming days.

Madbyte Update - September 2023

Our MADX token, a digital asset present across various blockchain networks, primarily finds its use in a couple of simple games. These games offer rewards in alternative cryptocurrencies like Litecoin (LTC),  Bitcoin, and our own MADX token.

For instance, during the last week of August, on the Madcapx platform, we distributed small amounts of LTC as rewards. To obtain LTC, you needed MADX tokens to break barriers or engage opponents; without MADX in your rewards account, accessing LTC rewards was impossible. Each month's end sees these rewards transferred to your MadVault, prompting you to begin collecting MADX tokens again to participate in the occasional battles to get at that LTC reward.

In September, stay alert for more Litecoin drops within the Token Field on Madcapx, or get some Litecoin rewarded for being the most violent within MadxField.
